do you realize how many words in the english language contain the letter 'e'? in the story i'm handwriting in the medieval way, the letter 'e' is the most difficult to do, followed by the letter 'd'. so right now the letter 'e' and i aren't getting along so well.
today was a good day, except i wasn't able to work after class. i called and patra said she already had enough baggers, so i just went home. i worked some more on my book. i have perfected how to make my guidelines. medieval manuscripts are written in very rigid straight lines, every page was measured and the text kept in the measurements. but i discovered that the parchment paper i'm using isn't a perfect rectangle. it's slightly trapezoid shaped. so even if my lines are perfectly straight, the paper isn't so it always seems slightly off. it drives me nuts.
the time for water aerobics changed, and christie and i didn't find out till we got there and ended up late. but today we had to do the evil dreaded wall work. we did 3 sets of 3. full body extensions (jump up out of the water and push up with your arms), vertical pushups (hold yourself up out of the water on the wall with just your arms and do little push ups) and flutter kicks (laying straight on your belly holding onto the wall and kick with just your lower legs). i hate doing wall work. it hurts.
mom came home today, and came with a bag of foreign coins grandma sent home with her for ryan and i. so ryan and i had a coin party, investigating all the different coins and divided them between the 2 of us. and we started to put them in cardboard cases, but we ran out of staples, so i'm gonna have to case them later, when i can find more staples. we collect coins, i love my collection.
