That will be enough children. The decision to ban AvariceTears is final, it will not be reversed no matter how many of you decide to insult me for doing my job, which is upholding the site terms out of respect for the community as a whole.
I put the information out here so people would understand the seriousness of using chat to troll/lie/bait/sexually harass other members for personal entertainment. Many of you forget that I am a chat administrator so this is not second hand accounts, this is something I saw myself when I investigated the claims of harassment.
I am greatly displeased with the attitude I'm seeing that indicates someone shouldn't be held accountable for their actions. If someone screws up and I confront them about it, running from chat and going over my head and outright lying about what happened, won't help your cause one bit. Nor will lying to others saying Adam gave you permission to return when he did no such thing.
Since I am the head moderator for theOtaku, I speak with Adam on a daily basis and his exact words when I asked was:
SunfallE (7:10:38 PM): do you ever recall e-mailing someone with permission to come back to the site.
adam (7:11:19 PM): me?
adam (7:11:23 PM): i don't email anyone
SunfallE (7:11:23 PM): yes, you
adam (7:11:31 PM): let alone give them permission
It's simple kids, if you screw up, don't run and lie to everyone, fess up and take responsibility for your actions. I'm more than willing to work with someone if they mess up, but not if they won't even admit to wrongdoing that I saw with my own eyes.
So seriously, enough. I expect all of you who consider yourself their friend to accept that the decision is final and let it alone.
