Now that you've read that, I hope you can understand why these members got themselves banned. It's one thing to joke and toss out innuendos and yet another to actually do stuff. The only people I didn't ban was chibi andy since they had entered the room unaware of what was going on and though their comments could be taken as innuendo... upon realizing what was going on, they left. They didn't join in, they left the room. I also did not ban Manicies since they had just entered the room and had no idea what was going on.

It's the others who were behaving in a manner that we don't tolerate here at theOtaku that were in trouble. I don't like banning members and it pains me when I am required to do so. It's my job to uphold the terms of service for the community as a whole. As it says in the section in regards to chat:

Conversations in the chat must always be PG-rated. If you want to discuss mature topics, use the option for private chat or create a password protected room. Anything pornographic in nature is not allowed, even if the room has a password to keep other members out.

We have also included a bit at the top of chat when you enter about how important it is to behave in chat:

Welcome to our community's chat hub. You have to be a member for one month to access our chat and a member for at least one year to gain the ability to create rooms. If you create a room you are responsible for all happenings there. If you abuse chat in any way your entire theOtaku account could be terminated.

I hope this answers people's questions about why these members were banned. I am truly sorry it was necessary to do so and I hope people will see this and learn from it. Please don't do things that require us to ban you. If you really want to engage in this kind of behavior, go elsewhere for it.
