So I send this pm to them, mainly because I looked at their past comment history and I saw that they had been doing this to other members as well.
- I'll be quite clear on this. What you are doing is considered backseat moderating and it's not acceptable here at theOtaku. If you continue harassing members in this manner I will take things in my own hands, as you put it, and ban you from theOtaku for disruptive behavior.
It is not for you to decide if something is wrong or not allowed here at theOtaku. Remember that. If you feel something is wrong, you can report it and we'll make the final decision, but if you continue to harass other members after our verdict is given, it is you who will be in trouble.
I will be keeping an eye on your activities since looking into your account shows that you have harassed other members in the same manner. I'm quite serious. I expect you to lay off the attempts to play moderator here.

That in turn was met with this lovely little pm sent back almost immediately by the member in question:
- You moderators are horrible, literally . I truly have the right to tell someone that "Stealing art is bad" n' such. I am in no words "Harrasing" a member!
I am not bullying them, I am not calling them names, I am NOT Randomly going around and picking out people to say things to! I am merely saving their asses from further punishment. I am taking care of the people who obviously need to be told to do otherwise!. Even if I do report such ignorance to the "administrators," a picture may never be deleted! Some of the things I have found have been far more than tracing, they have been STOLEN, and you guys do nothing about it until I take care of it!
Why don't I just be an moderator myself!?
I'd do a good job of it! (seriously)
And go ahead, watch me, watch me make sure art isn't stolen on this site, because I fully intend on assisting artists with that protection!
It isn't right, and it is not fair to watch worthless little children degrade the work of others!
Make no mistake, if I ask someone to stop attempting to play moderator, I expect them to do so. This kind of behavior is not acceptable. We are going to make decisions that members don’t agree with and people need to accept that.
It is not the end of the world if someone has a quote on an e-card that isn’t cited as to the source and it’s not the end of the world if I don’t remove something you think is plagiarized when it’s not. Or if there isn’t enough proof for me to do anything.
I hope this example helps people understand what not to do when dealing with an issue on the site. Just because you think something is wrong, doesn’t mean it is, and you could be wrong, like they were about the quote.
If there is anything you all feel like I didn’t answer, just say so in the comments and I’ll answer them.
