Bang Yongguk - 0/10 (AKA NATURAL BEAUTY)
I'm calling it! Our beautiful leader has had no plastic surgery to date. That's my professional opinion on the matter. He still has his monolids, and I see you changes to his nose or face. And he's always had a persistent aegyo-sal (because he's the cutest), here's a pre-debut picture and recent instagram pictures so you all can draw your own conclusions! Note, the area around his mouth can look a little different, this is most likely due to botox.
Himchan - 8/10 (AKA YIKES)
Himchan was hard, because he was an ulzzang before he joined BAP, and ulzzangs tend to have some sort of plastic surgery done. Himchan is no different. Here is a picture of him pre-debut when he was in school. Now, as you can see (if you look hard) he actually has two different sized eyes. One's a little bit bigger than the other. He also has a wide jawline and a flat chin.
Fast forward a couple of years and we start to see some differences. Now, he's obviously lost some weight so I'm going to write off the slight different appearance around the area of his nose as weight loss. But losing weight can only account for so much. His eyes are now magically wider, and almost exactly the same size, unlike his earlier photos. Not to mention the difference in his jawline. Once a wide jaw is now a very slimmed out V-shaped jaw. Now, if his jaw had become sharper that would've been due to weight loss. Weight loss cannot change the appearance of bones. Only diseases and doctors can do that.
Bear in mind, this is all pre-debut. The Himchan we know now looks even different still. His jaw is now almost completely non-existent, there are obvious double-eyelid creases that were not there in his youth. His nose has also become far more defined as seen in this picture, and that's not weight loss. That's surgery. And, let's face it, he doesn't look anything like the first picture shown for him.
Daehyun - 2/10 (AKA HARD TO TELL)
Another hard one, but only because pre-debut pictures of him are hard to come by! So, I'm not condemning him (too hard), but here's a handy grid that some kind tumblr soul made. Now, note, another aegyo-sal natural, he's always had bags under his eyes, and he has mono-lids.
Moving onto his post-debut days, here's a side-by-side comparison. Now, there are very slight differences. Mostly his eyes now becoming quite open, but looking into his instagram I'm seeing smaller eyes. This is most likely the result of double-eyelid tape, lots of idols use it for music videos and performances just so they can have larger eyes and it's temporary. His nose does look a little different to me through the years but it still looks quite natural. He's also had a bit of a chin implant, since he went from no chin to actual chin. Again, not drastic. So even if he's had the KPop combo (eyes and nose) plus chin, he still looks very much like Daehyun.
Youngjae - ??/?? (WHO KNOWS)
Sorry, but Youngjae has always stumped me. Not only are there very few pictures of him pre-debut, they're not good in terms of quality. But, quick analysis, small eyes. That's all I can really gather. If there's anything he's had done, it would probably be a corner cutting surgery as his eyes are not really bigger, but are much wider. But that's all I can really say about this little demon.
Jongup - 0/10 (AKA NATURAL BEAUTY)
Tada! Two natural beauties in a group! Jongup is baby #2, the second youngest and the most adorable with his little bunny teeth! You'll notice his mono-lids, thin jawline, pointed chin, and he still has them! Good for you Jongup! You keep on being adorable!
Zelo - 4/10 (AKA SOME WORK HAS BEEN DONE)
Now, we move onto my baby Zelo. This is my giant dancing baby bias and I will fully admit that he's had plastic surgery. Here's him pre-debut with his wide jaw, tiny eyes, and flared nostrils. Wasn't he a little button?
But, this is KPop, it never lasts. Let's start with his eyes. They are way too wide and way too large now to simply be him hitting puberty. He's had some sort of procedure done on his eyes, that much I know for certain. His nose is also different from his pre-debut. Not drastic, but he fiddled with his nostrils slightly, and the definition of his nose I'm going to actually call puberty. Because his face overall got longer (as faces do when you age).
There's one last factor that has plenty of people torn. Zelo has a very wide jaw at times, and sometimes he has a very narrow jaw. Most people say he had it shaved, but I don't think so. Just like Onew from Shinee and his magic changing nose, I think Zelo has the same thing with his jaw. As you can see here when he smiles he has a pretty wide jaw! But when he's posing/doing odd Zelo things with his mouth, he looks quite different! Zelo has always looked very boyish when he smiles, and much older when he doesn't. Tis the fate of the giant dancing baby!
