So I talked to Beth about my lack of title among other things and now I have one! Otakuite! Whatever that's suppose to mean. XP But! Is it odd that I now feel strange upon receiving it? o_O I feel kind of like I did over at OtakuBoards when I lost the New in front of my title Member... I felt like starting a thread and saying... GIVE IT BACK! XD
Maybe if I didn't post so often it would have stuck around longer... it just felt weird since I hadn't been a member all that long. Heh. Even now it still feels that way! XD Anyway... that's only the beginning of this post and I'll warn you now... serious fangirl/geeking ahead that I just know Beth is going to snicker over. XP Anyway...
To start with I have to do this... *headdesk* Owww! Ahem... Anyway! This upcoming fangirl/geek sneaked up on me like they always do, by sneaking! In this case, shortly after I first met Sir Allamorph over at OtakuBoards. I was talking to him on AIM while browsing the boards, during our conversation I realized that the link in his signature went to a thread, specifically, the rpg Shinigami Dance.
Now... problem number one... I am too damn curious about everything! So when he explained that once you get a little into it where the creator is gone and the remaining players take over and it's good... naturally I had to read it. I was also curious because Indi had the same image in her signature and she too is in the rpg. >_> Long story short, within a few days I had read the entire thing and liked it.
That of course had me wanting to try out rpging since it's something I've never done before, so I started keeping an eye out for something over at OtakuBoards that I could join. I of course had no idea that the current cast was considering asking me to join, something that if you've read the rpg you'd know why they even considered adding another player. It was a situation where doing so was not only possible, but true to the actual story. So...
That sneak Sir Allamorph set me up for it by telling me about how people create a sign up for rpg's. He suggested I make a mock one for SD as an example since I was familiar with it... then... ZAP! Over an hour later of seriously discussing this on AIM, he told me they wanted to know if I was interested in joining. XD I was so surprised I had to go and ask Indi if he was serious or not since I thought he was kidding! Hehe! ^_^
But! That's not the fangirl/geeking moment I alluded to, no... that comes later. XP *headdesk* Oh am I never going to hear the end of this... But! Indi introduced a character by the name of Karl, or rather she introduced his human form since he's a werecat... >_> Uh... *falls over* And yes I'm saying he is CUTE!
Now, I mentioned that I'm too damn curious right? The image Karl has a web address on it so I went and took a look. >_> Stop looking at me like that! I was merely wondering if there was a better picture! *cough* Oh how to put this... *headdesk*
The damn thing is available as a print! There I said it! Help me please! XP I need something like that like I need a hole in my head! Gah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And yet... I can't deny that it's a definite temptation. *shot*
