Thanks for the well wishes everyone. That’s the great thing about antibiotics, once they start working you feel so much better. So I’m well enough that I’ll be leaving in about half an hour to go and watch fireworks.
Unfortunately my roommate Indi won’t be able to come with us since she was with some friends this morning when a drunk driver ran a red-light and totaled the car they were in. >_< She’ll be fine, but with bruises and a concussion the hospital she’s in decided to keep her overnight so obviously she can’t come. I would have stayed at the hospital, but once visiting hours were up they chased everyone out.
I just don’t understand why people have to do stupid things like drinking and driving. No one was killed, but still, that sort of thing is just so unnecessary. The only good thing about it is the fool who wrecked their car has previous incidents and was driving without a license since theirs had been revoked. So it’s highly likely that they’ll get at least five years in prison for causing the wreck.
I’m just glad that everyone is going to be alright. What a way to spend the holiday though. Ugh.
