Currently working on: Next page of OFAV (WHICH I ONLY NEED TO COLOR! :DDDD), A character for the Design the Character! challenge, and I'm on-and-off with a whole bunch of other stuff. xD;

THREE DAY WEEEKEND!
Usually I have a four day weekend at the end of the quarter, but whatever... MORE TIME TO DRAW. Hee.
Anyways, I'm working... I just about finished designing a character for Wakusei's "Design the Character!" challenge (link above). Just making a few changes to his clothes... (talking to myself. >3>)
I'm pretty satisfied with the character I made, but I'm a little iffy about acutally using the character since there's going to be a bombardment of characters with heterochromia, wings, and horns after the challenge... so I tried my hardest to make him unique.
DON'T GET YOU'RE HOPES UP TOO HIGH THOUGH...
His clothes are pretty boring. D:

I've been getting pretty frustrated with desinging stuff lately because... well, idk why. D: Clothes are just hard. xD; I go to stores and stuff and say things like, "Oh, I should draw a character in something like that!" but then I forget how it looks when I get home. (I HAVE THE WORLDS WORST MEMORY. D: Well, no I don't. But it's pretty bad... xD; In January, I couldn't remember what my mom's eyecolor was....)
ALSO, ALL MY CHARACTERS WEAR SCARVES.
Okay, that's a lie. Pretty much only Tomato wears scarves.
BUT BECAUSE HE WEARS SCARVES, I FEEL LIKE I SHOULDN'T DRAW SCARVES ON OTHER CHARACTES. D:

Anyways, let's talk about something else. :D (You can totally just ignore that beginning part.)
Something interesting I noticed is that a lot of people (particularly newer/younger members) like Tomato. Is there a particular reason for that? I mean, I didn't put a lot of thought into his character (ALMOST NO BACKGROUND STORY, HOORAY! 8D), and he has a pretty basic personality. And he's dumb. Like, literally dumb. I'm almost positive that if I made him a girl, a lot of people would hate him because he'd be a dumb, spoiled girl. :I Although, I predicted a lot of people would like him because he's gay and wears girly clothes. And for some reason, girly-men are "in". xD;
IDK, I JUST THOUGHT I'D RANT ABOUT THIS. I'd been wondering for a while...
Honestly, I appreciate that you people like Tomato. xD; I expected so many more of you to be scared of him. I myself do like Tomato a bit, but he's definitely not my favorite. :P

OH YEAH, I STILL NEED NEW INKING PENS, SO BE PATIENT WITH NEW PICTURES... ;A; Hopefully I can get some soon. D:
