Um... Spoilers for A Life Like This? Everything's already been spoilified by now, so it doesn't make much of a difference... >3>
Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
He's 5'11 with a medium build. He's not terribly muscular, but he's not wimpy or lanky.
2. How old is he?
17 is usually the age I draw him, but his story goes over the course of 8th to 12th grade.
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
He slouches a bit, relaxed with his hands usually in his pockets. But he doesn't have terrible posture. xD
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
He's healthy and strong. :9 He's good at sports, but doesn't play on the school sports teams. As for illnesses, I haven't thought about it... I'm pretty sure he doesn't have any. Except he's really angst-y.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
He walks... like a boy. xD Haha. He's pretty relaxed when he walks. People think he looks cool when he walks, but he doesn't necessarily walk like he's cool. (Does that even make sense? xD) Like he doesn't think of himself as cool, but his walk aids to the perception that he's cool...
Okay, I'll stop now.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
Most people think he's cool. Girls think he's cute/handsome/whatever. He doesn't like how he looks because he looks like his dad, and he knows he's not really "cool", that it's all an act.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Light complexion, pinkish and doesn't tan easily, freckle faced. He's not so pale that he's ghostly.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Orange and curly/wavy. His hair comes to about mid-neck, and has bangs that are parted on his left. Um... I think his hair would be moderately thick, not really fine.
9. What color are his eyes?
Greeeeeen.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Uuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmnnnnnn.....

....What does this mean? xD; If someone knows, tell me and I'll answer it.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
The standard outfit I draw him in is a blue plaid button-down shirt (unbuttoned) with some sort of tee-shirt underneath, along with medium-blue jeans (not skinny) and converse. :U
He wears "popular" clothes. When I'm looking for references for clothing, I usually go to Aeropostale, but sometimes Abercrombie or Holister.
Teen guy in real life don't have much variety in their clothing, so Tim's outfits usually are about the same but with different colored shirts/pants.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
As in the right size...? Yeah they're the right size.
Figuratively, he doesn't care about his clothes one way or another. He doesn't think they suit him well, but he doesn't know what else he'd wear.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
He dresses the same.
By the way, Tim does have a job! :0 He works at American Eagle. He got the job in either 10th or 11th grade, I haven't decided.

Aha, uh... boxers I guess.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
His voice isn't real deep or real high pitched... xD He just sounds like a standard teen boy. For comparison... I guess he'd sound a bit like Zac Efron? (Zac Efron's not a teen, but...)
He's got a smooth, calm, laid-back voice.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
Slightly slower than average, but not so slow that it'd be considered hesitant. When he speaks, he speaks pretty consistently without pausing. (But I don't mean that he doesn't have inflection in his voice... xD;)
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
Hm... Well, he has a bit of a potty mouth. :P He got the habit from hanging out with Jake and the like.
Even though he lives in Boston, I don't imagine him with a Boston accent... Actually, I don't imagine any of the characters who live in Boston to have Boston accents. xD Only Dare sometimes....
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
He speaks English fluently, and is learning Japanese in school.
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
No. Well, in class he talks in English and Japanese, obviously.
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
Hm... Well, he normally just says whatever first comes to his head in everyday conversation. And I guess he's not bad at getting his point across without thinking about it.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Not eloquent. xD But he's a good talker, so he's not inarticulate. He doesn't talk much around his mom, though.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
He's book-smart in that he can absorb what he's told and reason things out, but he doesn't push himself in book-smarts outside of school. (As in, he doesn't have an interest in history and science, but does well in the school subjects.) I'd say he's pretty street-smart too since he lives and mostly takes care of himself in the city.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
He's calculating, and intuitive in that he's good at accurately analyzing peoples' personalities and their thought process. His actions are based on what would keep him in the "popular" group. But he's not faking because he wants to be popular, he's faking because they're the only people he's got to hang around. But more than them manipulating him, he's manipulating them into believing he's something he's not.
Uh... Yeah.
He's virtuous, though. But a liar.
4. What kind of education has the character had?
He's going to graduate from high school "this" year.
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
He's best at math, English, and Japanese, but he's also good at his other classes. He's not interested in learning about anything.
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
Forced extrovert.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Around Jake's group he's chill and laughing at all their jokes. He usually thinks cynical thinks about them to himself. By himself, he's thoughtful, and angsty, and a bit sad and confused......
BUT ANYWAYS, he's naturally a pretty chill dude, but stressed because of his life situation.
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
He's curious, but still moderately relaxed.

Um... probably react. He's a follower.

What does this mean...

Dry, sarcastic humor is what he goes for. He doesn't care for dirty jokes, but thinks stupid puns can be funny.

Hm... No, I'd just say he has teenage anxiety and stress. He deals with it by keeping it to himself. Later Rick is there to help him stay on his feet.

Um... back in middle school when he had to fake his friendship is pretty important. Also when he becomes friends with Dare and Rick. And some other stuff...

His mom.

He just wants his life to get better.

That he doesn't like the people he hangs out with, and that he's in love with a boy.

He hates his mom (but he actually doesn't), and he never met his dad. Tim was born when Tim's Mom was 16, and Tim's dad left his mom before Tim was born.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
He's an only child.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
No. An idea was that he was close to his grandparents, but I scrapped that.

Tim is close to Rick's family. Tim is in love with Rick. He babysits Rick's little brother Jamie. The rest of the family are cool with Tim. :9 /lazy response

Tim's "best friend" is Jake, a loud and rambunctious teenager. Idk how they met... hm. I think it was just a very normal meeting in elementary school. You know?

He's good at making people think he's getting along with them...

First crush... hm. Idk. His main crush is Rick.

His enemy-type-things are Jake and his mom. I mean, Tim's mom, not Jake's mom. Jake's mom is no one.

What is the Kinsey scale... >_> He's bi. It's not really 50/50, he doesn't think much about guys except for Rick, but he will notice an attractive girl. He's not one to fall in love easily, though.

He hates sex. He strongly believes that sex does not equate to love, 'cause teen sex the reason his and his mom's life is how it is.

Uh....
Idk. Turn ons? I never thought about it because the only person he's interested in is Rick. ('cause most other teenagers he hangs with are only interested in physical appearances or something....)
Turn-offs = being annoyingly talkative, drinking alcohol, arrogance...

I don't know it... I could check, but I'm too lazy.

He doesn't think much about religion.

His moral ethics are…. Well, he’s a morally good person who doesn’t want to get involved with alcohol and sex and stealing and the like, who wants to treat people well. (He has a hard time letting his ethics being known because of the image he has to keep.) This started first with him wanting to do the exact opposite of his mom just to be contrary. And… Idk what the last question means. |D
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
He’s easily persuaded by other people’s beliefs because people expect Tim to agree with them. A lot of Jake’s beliefs are different from Tim’s, and Tim usually ridicules Jake’s beliefs (in his mind, not out loud).
5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
Hm… Well, I guess a prejudice of sorts is how he assumes all popular kids act a certain way, and that they’re easy to manipulate. He also has to pretend that he’s prejudice toward homosexuals because that’s what Jake expects of him.
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
Rather unwealthy and uncomfortable. I do have trouble with this sometimes because I wonder how much Tim could afford. Sometimes I draw him with a Nintendo DS… I think he bought that with his own money. Yeah. And he probably has a cell phone that he bought. But he doesn’t have a computer, he goes to the library for that.
/ranting about electronics
2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
He’s lower middle class, and it’s pretty stagnant.
3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
He lives in a small apartment with his mom.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Manga and video games, movies, music/CDs, as I said earlier a Nintendo DS (xD;), a cell phone, and… yeah, that should cover it.
I bet he watches anime online.

He works at American Eagle. He was either going to work there, or at Holister or Abercrombie… but those places were too smelly with cologne. |D Well, they are you know…
He doesn’t mind his job, because he doesn’t know where else to work. And he gets money. And he meets interesting people sometimes. And he finds out that sometimes Rick shops at American Eagle.
6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
Reading manga, playing videogames, listening to music, doodling/drawing random things, yeah.
7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
….I think I knew at one point what foods he doesn’t like, but I don’t remember. xD; I think it was some vegetables that he didn’t like. He likes foods like burgers and fries. o3o But he’ll eat pretty much anything. He skips meals when there’s nothing in the house and he can’t buy any food.
