AH wow I'm super late on answering those OC questions. HERE THEY ARE NOW, I GUESS!
The first ones are from XxArrancarFanxX, for Lafayette!
5. On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets?
HMM.... not sure. He doesn't carry a purse, so probably just a wallet + phone + headphones, just typical stuff ahah. SORRY FOR THE BORING ANSWER RIGHT OFF THE BAT. I'm trying to think of what he'd carry related to his interests, but his acting/singing hobby doesn't really require any props... when he's older he may sometimes carry cigarettes in his pocket I guess. :u
10. Does your character feel more comfortable with more clothing, or with less clothing?
Despite what I draw him in (especially when he's older), I wanna say Lafayette's more comfortable with more clothing rather than less. :0 I think Lafayette has kind of an interesting relationship (?) with clothing and his body, so I drew some quick notes on the do's and don'ts for Lafayette in terms of clothing/modesty:
There are exceptions here and there to these notes depending on setting, but yeah. As a general rule, I think he likes showing off his legs but tends to be a little more modest with his upper body (namely his arms).
18. Is your character more likely to admire wisdom, or ambition in others?
Lafayette almost never admires anything in anyone (he tends not to think highly of anyone other than himself), but....!!! I'd say ambition. For instance one of his favorite albums is The Family Jewels by Marina and the Diamonds (one of the few people he admires AHAH;;), which has ambition and reaching for success as one of overarching themes of the album. I guess ambitious celebrities/people/characters/themes appeal to him because they reflect his own ideals for success.
I think Lafayette's also kind of fascinated with the negative side/consequences of being overly ambitious, he probably romanticizes that side of ambition more than he should. Idk if that makes any sense, ahah;;; I'm talking about the kinds of people/characters in songs like Numb by Marina and the Diamonds or Big Girls Cry by Sia. UNBEKNOWNST TO HIS HIGH SCHOOL SELF, he gets a lot closer to this kind of "tragically ambitious" (?) character than he expects to when he's an adult, ahah;;;
SORRY FOR THE LONG ANSWER... I don't think he really cares much about wisdom. Like, Dmitri is somewhat "wise" I guess compared to Lafayette and Lafayette respects him, but Laf definitely doesn't admire him for his wisdom.
35. How does your character behave around people they like?
This is kind of difficult because he doesn't usually have much of an opinion on other people, ahah;; Lafayette is loud and pompous around everyone, but I guess if he actually cares about you he'll be marginally more subdued than usual. He's still not really all that courteous even to people he likes, though.
36. How does your character behave around people they dislike?
Like the previous question, Lafayette's still loud and pompous around everyone, even people he dislikes... I don't know if he'd be more likely to outwardly say his negative opinions on a person if he dislikes them, he kind of says exactly what he thinks about people all the time (even the people he likes). I guess he gets a little more sarcastic and curt around people he doesn't like... His rudeness can come off as a joke even when he's being serious though, so it's not always obvious when he dislikes someone.
The next questions are from Keba Si Rota, for Noland!
13. Is your character bothered by the sight of blood? If so, in what way?
Hmm I've never really thought about this before! Probably because none of my stories really have violence in them, ahah;; I wanna say he's probably a bit more on the squeamish-around-blood side, I can't imagine that he likes gory movies or anything. I don't know if he'd faint or anything at the sight of blood, but he'd probably get woozy seeing someone bleeding a lot... idk Noland tends to subconsciously empathize with people in this regard, like he cries when he sees someone crying and would probably vomit if he saw someone vomit. Idk if there's a word for that, but he has that kind of reaction to things like that. (???? sorry if my phrasing doesn't make sense ahaha;;)
26. How does your character behave around children?
Noland's not particularly comfortable around children because he's just really shy, but he tries to be as honest and friendly as he can be with children.... he usually just lets kids talk when he's around them, and asking them questions now and then so he doesn't have to say much himself, ahaha. Because he's honest and listens to what kids say, kids are actually pretty comfortable around him (much to his surprise ahaha).
Thanks for the questions both of you!! :^D Hope my answers are interesting enough, ahaha;; And if anyone for some reason has any other OC questions I'd be glad to answer them.... :^)
