Patty was making kitty noises as she played with Crona's newly formed ears, sending shivers down the pink haired boy's spine as she rubbed the more sensitive spots on the furry pink ears.
"Patty stop messing with his ears," Kid said.
Patty pouted and let go, only to start doing it again as soon as Kid turned around.
"Oh, hey guys. Did you hear that were getting two new students?" Maka announced. Everyone looked over.
"Really?" Soul asked. She nodded.
"Sid tolled me about it. Said were getting two new weapons," She said.
"Did he happen to tell their gender?" Kid asked. She shook her head.
"Sorry, but no. He didn't mention the gender of the two," she replied.
"Well, it's getting late so why don't we head home now,' Soul said.
"Yeah, it's about time we get going too," Tsubaki agreed.
"Bye guys," Crona responded timidly and waved to them. They waved back, and headed home. Stein, Kid, Patty, and Liz were still with Crona. Crona looked over at them.
"Aren't you guys going home too?" He asked them. Kid shook his head.
"No, I need to talk to my father,' he stated.
"And he's making us come with him," Liz added bitterly.
"Yup!" Patty confirmed. She smiled widely. Crona looked up at Stein.
"Well you see, it's not very safe at the lab right now because of that failed experiment. I might get affected by it and be turned into a cat-hybrid like you. So I'm going to stay the night at Spirit's," Stein explained.
"Oh," Crona replied, dejected. He turned and headed inside. He walked down the dark hallways that were dimly lit by the torches on the walls. Crona's steps echoed in the empty halls as he neared his room. He pushed his door open then felt for the light switch and flicked it on. Crona then closed his door then laid in bed yawning. He drifted off to sleep once his head hit his pillows.

Stein watched as Kid smeared the numbers on the wall mirror to call his father with an apathetic expression. Shinigami appeared in the mirror within seconds.
"Heyo, hiyo hey!" Shinigami-sama greeted them in his usual cheery voice. Kid remained unamused.
"Hello, Father. I would like to ask who these new students everyone's been talking about are," Kid told his father.
"Oh, you mean the new weapons? Their names are Collin and Caleb. I have their transfer papers right here," Shinigami-sama replied, pulling out two photos.
One was of a small, pale girl with long black hair, red eyes and a red eye patch over her right eye. She was smiling and waving in the picture. The other was of a small boy with long black hair, blue eyes and a blue eye patch over his left eye. He had a blank look on his face and his arms were crossed over his chest. The two had the similar clothing. Both wore long sleeved grey shirts, black pants, and boots.
"What are their personalities like?" Kid asked his father, but Shinigami-sama wasn't giving any more information.
"You're just going to have to wait till tomorrow, Kiddo," Shinigami-sama chimed. Kid sighed, defeated.
"Fine then. I'm heading home now," he said, then turned and left.
"So what are they like?" Stein asked, once when Kid was gone.
"You will have to wait as well, Stein. I will tell you this, though. Those two are complete opposites," Shinigami-sama said. Stein nodded.
"That is all. I'll see you tomorrow, Stein," Shinigami-sama said, then vanished from the mirror. Stein turned and walked out, heading to the library where Spirit was waiting for him.
He walked into the room and saw Spirit skimming through Excalibur's book. Stein walked over.
"Why are you reading that book?" he asked the Death Scythe. Spirit shrugged.
"Bored," the red-head grunted in response as he looked at the pages.
"Well, let's go now," Stein said. Spirit put the book down and got to his feet. He then followed the scientist out of the room. They walked to Spirit's apartment, since it was rather close. He unlocked his door and they walked in. The place was simple and slightly messy. Spirit yawned and headed to his room with Stein following close behind him.
"Where will I be sleeping?" Stein asked. Spirit smirked.
"The couch," Spirit replied, as he opened his bedroom door and stepped inside.
The pink-haired boy slowly crept through the eerie building. His blue eyes darted around the room as
he looked for Dr. Stein in his bed room, bathroom, living room, and just about everywhere else.
Lord death had asked Crona to deliver a package to Dr. Freinkin Stein. Crona slowly walked to
the basement. He heard a muffled voice behind the door. His heart raced as he reached for the
handle with a shaky hand. He gripped the silver nob and turned it slowly.
It clicked as it oppened and he gently pushed to look inside. His other hand clasped the
package Lord death had given him. He poked his head into the room to see what was going on.
Stein was conducting an experiment. 'D-dr. Stein.' Crona said feebly. The tall silverett looked up to
see the pink-haired boys head in the door way. As the man was about to ask what he needed their
was a loud pop coming from the vial on the desk before him. His eyes shoot down and he cursed.
'Crona get down!' He said as he flopped down onto the floor. Right as crona was going to slam the
door closed and run away the vile eploded and the door shot oppen and crona went flying agianst
the stairs behind him, making him yelp in pain. Stein quickly got up and ran over to him. 'Crap Crap
Crap crap.' He kept muttering as he picked Cronas unconscious form up. He could already see pink
buds ripping through the thin layer over his skull. A small lump was forming out of Crona's tail bone.
A ripping noise filled Steins ears as a long wiggling tail broke through the back of Cronas cloths, the
pink furry thing stained in blood. the same happened with the two nubs on Cronas head. They were
big fluffy cat ears. Crona was panting and his body was limp in Steins arms. Stein noted the claws beginning to form on Cronas hands. Crona yelped in unconsciousnesses as fangs grew from his canines ripping at his gums and ripping his bottom lip as he chewed on it in his sleep. Stein laid
Crona down and got a syringe with a slightly strong pain killer and put it into Cronas main vein in
his left arm. Moments later Crona calmed and his shallow breathing filled the room. Ragnerock came out. 'What the hell was that? And why the hell dose he have cat ears now?!' he demanded as he
pulled on the sensitive ears, making Crona flinch despite the pain killer. Stein slapped his hands
away. 'I was researching different types of animal DNA. I was trying to stabilize the cat DNA when i
saw Crona. The DNA stabilized completely and it blew up. Crona was caught in the explosion and
thus the DNA has now merged with Cronas. Its quite likely that this is permanent. That means, like
all felines, Crona will go through heat. I suggest during that time you and Crona go somewhere where
no one will find you and wait out the heat. Since you are part of Crona you will not be affected by
Cronas heat but everyone else, male and female, will be attracted to him during this time. Got all that or am i going to have to put it in a more simple way so you can understand it?' Stein said. 'Yah yah yah
I understand. But where can I take 'em?' He asked. 'Dont know. Youll have to figure that out because
I will likely be affected by cronas heat as well so it would be a good idea for me to know.' he said. Cronas body twitched as he started to wake. 'Constantly ask him if he has any strange feelings.
If he tells you that he feels really weird and hot make him leave ASAP got it?' Stein said. Ragnarok nodded. Crona opened his eyes. He still had the package clutched in his arms. 'W-what happened?'
He asked as he sat up. He saw the pink tail and yelped. 'Why do i have a tail?' He asked. 'Ragnarock explain to him. I dont want to say it again.' Stein said and got up. 'Im going to go tell Lord death what
happened.' he said and went to the bathroom. Ragnarock tolled him what Stein had tolled him while
Crona was out. Cronas eyes were wide. 'B-b-but. I dont want to go through heat! I dont know how
to deal with that sort of thing.' he said, his hands gripping his hair. Thats when he noticed the ears,
which made him yelp again. 'I have cat ears too?' he said rubbing the pink fluffy ears now on his head
and shivered at the feeling. Stein walked back in. 'Ok Lord death knows. Ill take you home now.' he
said. Crona nodded and got up. he followed stein to the door and then remembered the package.
'Oh Dr. Stein Lord Death wanted me to give you this.' He said giving Stein the package. 'Thank you Crona.' He said and set it on his desk and walked out with Crona following. As Crona went home
many stared at the tail and ears he had. He felt really self conshious now, more than usual. He quickened his pase. They got to the school and Crona rushed to his room. Before he could even get
to the halls where his room was Maka saw him and ran over. 'Woah what happened?' she asked.
'I-i got caught in one of D-dr. Steins experiments.' was all he said. She smiled. 'You look cute with
them.' she said patting his shoulder. Crona blushed. Black star, Tsubaki, and soul walked over. 'You get caught in one of Steins experiments?' Soul asked. Crona nodded. Tsubaki and Maka were s
aying how cute and fluffy the ears were while Black star and soul were saying how crazy Stein could
be. Patty hopped. 'Ooooooh Crona you have kitty ears~' She said, playing with them. Liz stopped her.
'Stop their probubly really sensitive.' she said. Kid walked over. He raised a brow at the cat ears and
tail then looked over to see Stein, who shrugged innocently, and shook his head. Crona was going
to have hell of week.
For you people that are aware of my story Scarlet kiss I will be doing a LOT
of editing on the story because quite frankly I dont like it. It seems really
dumb to in some of the scenes. I will fix them as soon as I possibly can then I
will post them when I am done.
