Welcome to the place where I post anything that has to do with East Asian music!
New Music Videos, New Song Previews, Info About Certain Bands/Singers, etc. anything that I decide to do that'll make it more fun to listen to music!
I will try my best to keep you guys up to date with bands/singers' new music and music videos!
So Please Enjoy~!
About the Name:
I know, it's a very strange title for a music world. But most bands and singers that I've seen always cheer at their lives to make the crowd more excited and that's the kind of feeling I get from the music I like. So cheer! And be happy! ^ ^
Now a look at my favorite singer...well, SOLO singer. Let's start with her first single and then her most recent:
This song is called Ai no Bakayarou, it is Maki Goto's first solo. It is apparently EXTREMELY popular and had the most sales than any of her other songs, but it's not really my favorite of hers. Oh! And sorry it doesn't completely end...I don't know why, but the PV was never complete...maybe because it's a PV.
Next song is called Fly Away (the first in her beginning as Sweet Black):
I LOVE this song! ^ ^ And I really like how she dances in this video, if there was only a dance shot...
Next: Lady Rise:
This song doesn't exactly have any epicness to it, but I really like the look of the PV. Pink background and awesome clothes! ^ ^ This is probably the most inspirational PV...even though it's a little...ehhh... OH! Her clothes were a collaboration with a mangaka, famous for her fashion manga.
And last, her most recent song: With...:
I just watched it today, 'cept not all of it. I like it...though it kinda seems, listening to this song, that she's becoming the next Ai Otsuka, just by the sound of this song, maybe even the next Ayumi Hamasaki! O.O I hope she gets more popular and I hope to see more songs from her! ^ ^
Hope you like her songs and go listen to some more when she was apart of H!P.
OH! Before I go! Let me tell you a little story. When I was littler I used to listen to AOL radio and since I wanted to hear some Sailor Moon music...or something like that...I looked for an Anime Radio on AOL radio, found it, started listening to music, then realized that the music I liked was called jpop. So I found a Jpop Radio on AOL Radio, so I started to listen to music on there. And I immediately fell in love with Maki Goto's music. So I looked her up online to see if I could find any and then I looked on youtube, then there was a link to Koi no Dance Site by Morning Musume, and I wanted to see how that was related, then I found Maki Goto in there and started listening to more Morning Musume, then I heard C-ute music, then I heard Berryz Koubou music, and I now I'm a HUGE H!P fan all because I lisened to Maki Goto's beautiful music! ^ ^
I found some really good songs that I've loved for a while now. Some might seem familiar to you guys.
First one is called Samishii Nettaigyo and it's by WINK:
I LOVE the beginning of the PV, and I have no clue why....OH! This was also sung by W, but I don't like their version as much as the original.
This next one is called Give A Reason by Megumi Hayashibara (who voiced Rei Ayanami in NGE):
Sorry, it's just a picture. I couldn't even find a live! ^ ^; This used to be my favorite song, but I've heard a lot of other songs, so this isn't my favorite anymore. I'm sure it may sound familiar to some.
This next one is called Watarasebashi by Moritaka Chisato:
This was also sung by Aya Matsuura, which I'll show you next. I personally like Aya's version much better, but I find it interesting that Moritaka, I think, played all the instruments...or a lot of the ones included in this song.
This is the Aya Matsuura version of Watarasebashi:
This song is about a bridge...I think it's called Watarase...or something...I can't remember. It's...I guess kinda sad. It's like a remember when this happened and yadda yadda. I think it might be the sound quality that makes me like this version more.
Watarasebashi is also sung by many other members of H!P: Yoshizawa Hitomi (Yossy), Momoko Tsugunaga, and Yurina Kumai.
Since I don't know any other group that dances as hard as H!P, these videos will just be of H!P. I love dance shots! ^ ^ These are some of my favorites (and most challenging looking dances):
This one's called Tokkaiko Junjou, it's by C-ute. The first time I saw this I was completely amazed. How do they remember all that and do it right? Practice, I know...-.-; But I think it's really interesting, amazing, and the music is pretty epic, too.
This song's called Dakishimete Dakishimete, by Berryz Koubou. This one...it's kinda hard to see. I really like watching Saki Shimizu in this one, she's the girl with the hat and black and white striped shirt. She's probably the most energetic and the best dancer in Berryz, so yeah, pay attention to her.
I couldn't not post this! This group is supposed to have the best dancers in H!P and the dance is supposed to be really challenging, which it does look like. I really like this dance shot, it's probably one of the best.
Ehhh...this one isn't big on the dance or anything, I just like to recognize all the people in the video and when they dance in sync it looks awesome! ^ ^
I LOVE Perfume songs, and I said in the last post that I'd post their songs. I show you my favorite of theirs!
First song is called Polyrythm:
I love singing along to the parts where they sing Polyrythm. At first I thought it was kinda annoying, but then it gets really catchy.
Next song is called Dream Fighter:
I kinda wish there was more in this video, but I do love them exploding into spherical bubbles! ^ ^
Next song is called Secret Secret:
The song sounds a little creepy, but then when they eat the chocolate it gets better. This is a very metaphorical song. The song's lyrics are from a fan's perspective, while the whole video is a metaphor of how they started. When they wear gray it shows that they were kinda nobodies when they started out, and then the gold means them now since they're popular now, and the white means the future. Very interesting song and PV, and that's why I like this one so much!
Next song I can't get out of my head, it's called Puppy Love:
I think the PV is from their song Macaroni...I don't really care. The song is adorable and the name is cute, too. It starts out sounding like Charlie Brown, then it gets really good.
I really like Capsule and Perfume, which are both j-techno or a more futuristic sounding j-pop with computerized voices, and sometimes they don't have computerized voices. But let me just show you some of the Capsule songs that I love to death! ^ ^
This first one is called Jumper:
Check out the lyrics for the song (really simple and short):
Undisrupted secrets,
They won't break you,
Wake up,
flew just like you're,
Leaving nothing(You pause (could also be "because")),
freely speed up,
while we step in, jump in,
Jumper.
Next song! I love this song the first time I heard it. It's capsule's more j-pop song:
In the video it kinda starts in the middle. The video is pretty funny, though! ^ ^ The song is called Sakura.
This next song is called 5iVE Star:
The video is really cute! ^ ^ The song kinda reminds me of of an SNES game...dunno why.
This next song is called Idol Fancy, it kinda reminds me of Perfume's Sweet Donuts song:
