After a rather quick gathering of materials, Szayel was ready. Fortunately for Ayen, Szayel had prepared double for Akil…just in case things had gone sour. With his perfection, he didn’t know why, but he was just used to taking precautions such as these. Mostly thanks to the imbeciles in his service. Lumina and Verona had forced him to drop more material than he cared to think about.
“You realize you can easily die from this, don’t you?” Szayel sneered with a sadistic grin as Ayen entered.
“I won’t die. I’m not weak.”
Pleased by this response, Szayel pushed up his glasses. “Then let’s begin.”
The doors were all shut tight. Nothing entered, and nothing exited for a 24 hour period. And the modification was complete. Szayel had really outdone himself. This modification had gone much quicker and far more fluidly. Sighing deeply, he ran his hand through his hair and looked at the ceiling. “After a few hours of recovery, I will wake him. If he can kill my Fraccion and deprive me of his service, then he can do without my compassion and get to work.” he muttered, exiting the room, leaving it in the cold dark.
“Lumina…Verona.” Szayel spoke in a low tone as he sat behind his desk.
“Master?!”
“Yes, Master?”
“Akil. Bring his remains to the lab…” He said, a sadistic grin on his lips.
“Yes!”
“Yes!!”
“You will be of use to me…Akil. I told you I would not tolerate a useless fraccion…and I did not give you permission to die without serving a purpose.” He muttered to the darkness.
