Noises Inside My Mind

I really, truly thought that I was going crazy. There I was, sitting at my computer reading a harmless little yaoi story and all the sudden I hear a "bee-beep" sound. At first I thought it was my computer, cuz it has been acting strangly for the past week and I wouldn't have been surprised if it had started making noises and then spontaneously cumbsted. So I restarted it. And that was all well and good untill the infernal "bee-beep" resounded once again. I climbed under the computer desk in order to check the wires, but only suceeded in getting a mouth full of dust. After two more "bee-beeps," I decided to turn my computer all the way off and see if it kept up. It did. Which led me to search the room for the incessant "bee-beep's" origin. I started by standing in the middle of my living room, trying to decipher where it was the loudest. After a few minutes, it made the noise again and I dived to my left. Now, believe it or not their are exactly five old crappy radios in that one location that have been known to make random sounds when my dad forgets to shut them off and they pick up a station. So one by one, I put my ear to each, waiting for the sound to come out. It was all fruitless. I searched all over the coffee table, throwing phone books harzardly across the room to clear my way. Nothing! Abousolutly nothing! I began to think, "could it possibly be in my head?" It was possible. I hadn't slept for 38 hours. I contiplated waking my sister to see if she could hear it. It was a perfectly logical thing to do. So I went to go do that, when the "bee-beep" sounded directly below me, parallel to my waste. Looking down, I saw my sister's cell phone lying innocently on the table. So innocent that it was suspicious. I carefully placed it up to my ear and waited. Five minutes passed and then "BEE-BEEP!" I jumped, having just been about to give up. Curious, I flipped open the phone and saw that the battery needed recharging. I glared at the little satanic device, marched to the bedroom, and chucked the phone at my sisters head, chatising myself for ever doubting my obvious sanity.
