As some of you maybe have seen, some time ago (actually two months ago xD), I posted about ten longest animes that are out there.So I decided to finally post about some of the longest mangas out there.
There are many, some good, some maybe bad. But is kinda hard to think that there are some long ones, but that are bad actually. Ah well, it will only get confusing. So without nothing more to add, here are some:
The longest manga by chapters and volumes is....... Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Kōen-mae Hashutsujo (Wow, what a long title!). It actually has 171 volumes and 1,672 chapters. Now that is loooong.
And the manga is actually about some police units and has a lot comedy in it. I actually just saw it a little, but I am not sure will I read it though. xD
Some other really long mangas are Dokaben (162 volumes), Cooking Papa (112 volumes), Oishinbo (105 volumes) and... Actually let's just now say some that you may know about. I don't know, but all these are unknown to me. >_>
So some other ones are Detective Conan who has 70 volumes. And here is the irony. To think that the anime has almost more episodes than chapters is hard to believe. But ah well, I guess that the chapters are pretty long.
The same case is for the One Piece who has 60 volumes, which is small considering how many episodes anime has. But I haven't read the mangas of these animes so I can't really tell. The other ones more known are Naruto (53 volumes) and Bleach who has 48 (this will actually beat them all xD).
So that's it. I also wanted to write about the longest OVA, but actually nobody cares for that and it is one unknown too. xD
