Getting into town was easy enough. The guards didn’t even bat an eye at me. I guess all Ainmhi look the same or something. I got a few stares from the upper-class but Ochee was right, it didn’t seem as bad as before. The look of the place hasn’t changed much though.

The doorman greeted me with a half hearted welcome and laid out the plan. I go in, he locks the door, and once everyone is dead I leave. Simple. He would be dealing with the clean up after, so he implied that I try not to make too big a mess.

So, this old woman greeted me on the inside and seemed all excited, as though she’d never done anything more than sitting at home being waited on by servants. She was going on and on about the treasure and the mystery and blah de blah di blah. So when she asked me how I felt about it, I was honest and told her that I was there to kill everyone. Apparently the only answer to that was I had to have been joking.
Come to think of it, ain’t I a bit young to be smoozing with the old and wealth? I’m not even old enough to drink and yet here I am. It could be that Ochee had foreseen this and felt it the best move. What is more unassuming than a young girl, an Ainmhi at that? Who would ever think that I’m there to kill the lot of them?
