A funny thing happened to me when I woke up the day after my death party. That ghost like black robe dude who recruited me came by and, well, told me that there was a traitor in our ranks.
And just when I was gettin' comfortable.
I doth protested. I wanted to make it very clear that I would never betray the Brotherhood. I make good money, have a house, and get to kill people. And anyway, I've only been with the guild for like, so not that much time. I could never be a traitor.
At least you under... Wait what?
Kill everyone? I was a bit thrown off, confused, and, in the end, curious. Little old me? Don't get me wrong, being chosen by the Black Hand is a total honor, but damn. I was getting to like Ochee and Vinny. Granted, that Human that worked there, I can see her being the traitor. Some rich little tw... rich little girl like her being in the Brotherhood just never felt right.
I asked about Niina and whether I needed to kill her and LL looked at me all cock eyed and stupid. He's all like, "The nerd? Why would she need to die?" and left it at that. I guess I can feel fine that at least I don't have to kill all my new found friends. After I finish this I'll have to have a sit down with her. Just to make sure there are no hard feelings and stuff.
I remembered the garlic this time.
So I started that night, when most were there. When I walked into Vinny's chamber and tossed the garlic at him, he just laughed and called it a bad joke. And now you know, garlic does not affect vampires. Who woulda thought? So next I just quickly sliced off his head. He didn't even see it coming.
Ochee and the orc were harder but I used Ochee's loyalty and got her to help me kill the orc by saying he was the traitor. Then when I turned on Ochee she just smiled and realized that either I was the traitor or I was following the Black Hand's orders. I told her it was orders and she accepted her death. I hated killing her. Her loyalty woulda been great to keep. She also had some of the best stories.
The Human was a total bitch and tried to shoot me in the back but was too dumb to realize that I had poisoned her wine earlier and freaked when I told her. She got all worked up and helped the poison work it's way through her system and she coughed up a lung, literally.
