A Dish Called Revenge

Deja vu.

Why am I not surprised. Not only was my ex-master a pervert but it would seem he had other deplorable hobbies. The question is, did the son know and was that the reason he sold cheap and quick? My time with the Mage's Guild and the dungeon crawling experiences I've had allow me to take such moments with grace. Not that I needed to worry anyway.

Leaving well enough alone, at least till I can find out more, I retreated back upstairs to do my own ransacking.

Glowing is always a bad sign.

A quick dispelling charm hopefully took care of any possible curse and/or poison that might be a part of the glow. Any good adventurer knows that what glows usually always has some value if you can get to it.

I have no words.

The more I find out about the guy, the more I feel justified in killing him. I'm beginning to understand why the Night Mother sent me here first. While there was no ban against necromancy in the Brotherhood, it was well known that such souls that are bound and summoned do not go to their rightful place and thus hamper the tributes to Sithis. If there is a soul here, it'd be ripe for an offering. I just have to find out how to open that seal.

But before that...

I'm really going to kill that guy when I get out of here. Not if, mind you. He sells me a haunted house, tainted by really dark arts and expects me to just take as is. I have a feeling he knows more than he initially let on. He may still be in town. Granted I have to clear out the wraiths first.

I am so going to relish killing this family, when I can get around to it.
