I'm overthinking, I think...

So I finally watched Watchmen. My friends back home have been trying to get me to do so since it hit theaters. I've never read the comic, so I didn't know what to expect and with most comic to Hollywood movie transitions, there is a lack of quality writing. Granted, said friends have read the comic.
Short story, it was good. The camera angles and blocking were well done, the CG blended nicely, it carried over the feel of a comic book but never felt as gaudy as, say, Spiderman 3. From what my friends say, the script is true to the nature, and sometimes literal, in regards to the comic. And last, the actors fit their roles well.
My only real complaint was the amount of screen time that Dr. Manhattan's shlong got.

That said, A-ko pointed out something that is kinda true. Certain plot aspects in the movie sorta match some of those in The Incredibles. Now, I have to watch said movie again to see the ones, but from what I remember I think she's right.

In other news, I shoulda gone into one of the other imaging tech jobs. Particularly the guys who do MRIs. They got it easy. I worked with them all week. I'm not going to destroy the image Hollywood set for them, but there is a certain leisure to it when there are no critical cases.

I've been seeing a lot of memes floating around, hell I did one (too lazy to hot link said post). I'm usually not one for them, not anymore at least. There was a time I lurcked the 4chan /b/ and the 'copy pastas' that populate the net. Now, I'm older, can't really say more mature, and I feel that my time needs to be spent else where.
Okay, slight sidetrack.
Anyway, memes. There are too many. They come and go so quickly. I wonder what it really take to start an epic one.

Now, something is a bit off here.

Early in the morning
Rising to the streets
Light me up that cigarette
and I'll strap shoes on my feet
Got to find a reason
A reason things went wrong
Got to find a reason
Why my moneys all gone
