Hail and good tidings

Greetings from the slightly chilly Ft. Hood, TX. Yep, I'm back.

Flew in last night to Ft Dix, NJ then changed out to a smaller plane and came down here to Texas for my demobilization. Sadly that means I won't be home for the night of candy and ghouls. Not that it really matters. I don't have a costume ready and even if I did, overseas flights are very tiring.
A-ko is still back in Germany, she flies out later. It was a tear filled parting. I'm currently swapping emails with her about every other minute. I haven't done that with someone since I worked at Ft. Carson. My friend worked on the floor above in enlisted records, while I was in the room below in officer records. God, some of them were so random.

I have no idea what I'm going to do for work. My unit has hella connections with hospitals all around Colorado, so there should be a good chance to find a place. It's just whether or not that I want to live around there. It pays to be a part of one of the best hospital units in the reserves. And if all else fails, I still hold my HR secondary job title. I can always bide my time on orders within the unit and play admin again.

My bro is looking for places around him that I could move into when I get beck up there. The crap that I had accumulated is still being shipped and should arrive around the same time I get back home. My bro will be picking me up from the airport. I haven't seen him in some time. I still need to properly meet my new sister. I never pegged him to marry, but he did and he is quite happy, so I need to see just how good my new sister is.

Gots to go, the office is only open till noon and I can't sit in the DFAC forever.

I haven't done a Miku video in a while so here's my new favorite song.
