After a small holiday break I'm back to adventure updates and whatnot. Newest is just up.
Hope all of you who do Thanksgiving day had a good one. I did. My brothers parents-in-law were really good peoples. He and his father-in-law really went at the banter, but according to his wife, that's quite normal.
It had also been a while since my sister and I have been at the same holiday dinner so that was nice. And since the three siblings were together on a holiday, and since there was a foosball table. The outcome was fated.
Opened a good bottle of wine and between our mom and my bro's wife we had two on two games till my sister an I were on the floor in total ROFL mode. I don't usually drink and wine apparently works wonders in the right atmosphere. I did play decent for not having played since, I don't know, maybe middle school. Just don't put me as the goalie and all will be great. i scored a few on my own goal when I was.
The food was what you'd expect from my family. My bro smoked some ribs; my sister made a Brussel sprout dish with mushrooms, bacon,garlic and a Parmesan/Gruyere sauce; Mom was turkey watch as well as bread pudding; I provided extras and managed times. Then there were the staples of mash potatoes and sweet potatoes and rolls. Tasty, tasty.
I need to get that sprouts recipe from my sister. Especially that sauce.
Next holiday is Christmas, who knows whats happening with that.
