Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Review

My NUNS review starts by stating that the HD graphics make this a beautiful game. I don't think I've ever seen cell-shaded graphics this beautiful. Everything moves very fluidly and it truly feels like you are in the Anime itself when you are playing. Aside from the awesome boss battles, which are repeated more than needed, the story mode is rather boring. Mute characters all around leaves a lifeless sense to the village. I mean Ultimate Ninja 3 on the PS2 had townspeople with voices and the PS3 doesn't, Why not? The transitions between each story mission seems so poorly done. For example, you'd be running through the Forest of Pain and than you run into Orochimaru. "Oh No!" But wait a second, now you're back safely in the village, since the mission is over and some of the missions don't even make much sense. I'm training to learn the Rasengan and all that is asked of me is to run up a tree and fight Jiraiya? They could have come up with far more imaginative games that actually take you through the actual process, instead of placing a 1 size fits all label on the 2 existing mini-games in story mode, Not counting the boss battles. Although there's plenty of stuff to unlock such as Statues, Music and the New Dioramas, like from previous games within the UN series, there really isn't all that much to do after the story mode is done. There's Ultimate Mode, which is the story mode and there's also a Freeplay mode. A few good things were the inclusion of the option between Japanese and English dubs and an option to have the CPU fight each other, which I personally enjoy, so I can watch some classic Naruto battles or even just for "What If" matches. The gameplay controls feel pretty smooth and natural. It's very easy to pick up and it's great for all casual gamers. After the Ultimate mode is complete, all you're left with is Freeplay, which does get boring when you don't have your friends or brothers around to play with you when you get that multiplayer itch. Since there are less characters here that are playable (25) the lasting effect is slightly less than the other UN games in the series.

I give this game an 8 out of 10. I enjoyed this game a lot, but the lack of features was the only bad thing of note.

Naruto Cinema

The Naruto Movie would star the following actors:
Naruto- Dylan or Cole Sprouse (The Suite Life of Zach and Cody)
Sakura- Emily Osment (Hannah Montana)
Kakashi- Matt Damon (The Bourne Movies Etc.)
Empress Yuzu- Kate Beckinsale (The Underworld Movies Etc.)

Naruto the Movie: Battle at the Mine
The movie takes place after Sasuke left the Leaf Village. The 5th Hokage Tsunade has sent Squad 7 to look into a problem in the Hidden Ore Village. It starts on the outskirts of the Ore Village, with the Squad scouting out the Village. They think everything looks calm, when all of a sudden they're attacked by large stone golems made of Ore. Sakura puts up a small fight, but gets beaten and taken captive into the Village by the golems. After the fight ends Naruto and Kakashi stealthily enter the Ore Village, only to find it's a ghost town with only 2 Ore golems guarding the entrance to the Ore Mines. After a brief fight with the 2 golems, Naruto and Kakashi make their way into the Mine only to find all the villagers slaving away mining their valuable Ore for the evil Empress. After fighting their way through the multiple golems, Naruto and Kakashi confront the Empress. She introduces herself as Empress Yuzu and Naruto proceeds to ask her where Sakura is being held. She tells him Sakura is in the Dungeon and Kakashi orders Naruto to go rescue her and to leave Yuzu to him. Naruto goes to the Dungeon and encounters many golems along the way to finally freeing Sakura from her prison. Meanwhile Kakashi and Empress Yuzu are building up to an epic battle between Kakashi with his Sharingan and Yuzu a Taijutsu specialist with great speed much like Lee. The battle begins with the trading of punches and kicks. It quickly grows to a climax when Kakashi sees an opening for victory, charges up a Lightning Blade and strikes Yuzu with what he thinks is the finishing blow, but is surprised to find that her armor absorbed his chakra and transferred it to energy, therefore giving her a second wind. Yuzu then administers a kick to the visibly tired Kakashi, that sends him crashing into a nearby wall. Right then Naruto and Sakura return, only to see their Sensei be defeated. Naruto then looks at the ground and vows to defeat Yuzu for everything she's done to the villagers and his own squad mates. He then looks up at Yuzu and puts fear into her heart, because he has become first level Nine Tails (Kyuubi). Naruto then begins his fight with the newly refreshed Yuzu, unknowing that each connected blow is actually giving Yuzu extra energy. After fighting a while and Naruto notices he's gotten nowhere and that Yuzu is gaining strength and going on the offensive. Sakura figures out Yuzu's armor is absorbing chakra and giving her added strength, she yells to Naruto and tells him her findings, only to take a knockout punch to the gut from the lightning fast and overconfident Yuzu, who calls Sakura a meddlesome girl. This angers Naruto so much that he transforms
to level 2 Nine Tails and begins to thrash Yuzu all around the ground. Then Naruto sees Yuzu still standing after the beating he dished out and charges up the purple Vermillion Rasengan and with one swift move exclaims "Rasengan" as he delivers the finishing blow sending Yuzu spinning like a drill through the mine wall and out of sight. Naruto then collapses and wakes up a day later to the sound of the once again active Ore Village. Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi make their way back home to the Hidden Leaf amid cheers of thanks and gratitude from the Ore Villagers.

Sigfried Concept Art

I chose the Concept Art picture of Sigfried. The reason I chose Sigfried is, because he looks very distinguished, heroic and is the main icon for the Light Side. I like how the one side of the picture is the sketch construction of Sigfried. From what he looks like without the armor to the addition of each piece and finally his sword Soul Calibur to complete the character of Sigfried. The way they drew up his armor, makes me think they tried to make Sigfried look almost Angelic. His boots, gauntlets and up to his shoulder pads have wing like extensions on them, but it all comes together on the other side of the picture with the finished product of one of the most recognized characters in Soul Calibur 4, Sigfried.

Naruto Halloween Warrior

I would choose Shino Aburame to transform into the classic monster Dracula. I think they have a couple of similarities and they are: 1. Ever noticed that Shino always wears sunglasses? Is it, because like Dracula, Shino also dislikes the Sun? (I know Dracula will burn if exposed to sunlight) 2. Shino always has the lower part of his face covered with his turtleneck jacket, much like Dracula uses his cape to cover the lower part of his face, so he won't expose his fangs to unsuspecting victims. Anyway, Shino would turn into the Lord of the Dark when the Sun goes down and then proceeds to terrorize innocent people and enemies alike. When Shino transforms into Dracula during battle, his skin and face become pale, he grows 2 inch blood sucking fangs, dons black clothing and a black cape. While fighting transformed as Dracula, Shino still uses chakra and his gauge slowly drains during battle, because blood which is Dracula's chakra, constantly drips from his fangs and the only way to replenish his chakra is to leech to his opponent and suck their blood. Instead of insect projectiles, he can send small groups of bats at his opponents. Dracula's 3 Ninjutsu's consist of: Gauge 1- Genjutsu which makes the opponent fall into a comatose state, so Dracula can approach and suck the blood from them causing 25 percent damage. Gauge 2- Summons the Children of the Night (Other Vampires) to come and feed on his opponent causing 50 percent damage. Gauge 3 Ultimate Ninjutsu- Summons the King Vampire Bat named Transyl to appear (like Gamabunta) on screen, he shoots Sonic Bullets (long range attack) and lunges to bite opponents (short range attack) causing up to 100 percent damage. That's my idea for a transformed Naruto Halloween Warrior.
