Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2 Review

Here's my review of Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2 The Phantom Fortress. First of all, when I first saw the trailer for the game, I was pretty much sold. I hadn't played the original UNH and this game looked like a great portable Naruto game. With 23 playable characters, over 100 floors to play through and a few mini games make this a great game. Not to mention the graphics in this game are top-notch and are perfect for the PSP screen. The PSP's vivid screen really brings out all the vivid colors of the characters, backgrounds and special effects graphics and makes the game feel like you're playing UN 3 right at home on the PS2. However UNH 2's controls were kind of confusing. I'm not sure if it's just me being new to the PSP but, the controls were a little tricky at first but, I finally got the hang of it, for the most part. The music and voice acting were also very good in this game too. Now I'm still pretty new when it comes to PSP games but, the gameplay in UNH 2 was one of the greatest experiences I've had with a PSP game, although I haven't played that many to begin with. The battles challenge you depending on your skill level and although the mini-games get a bit repetitive after a while, they're still fun to play. The original storyline with the Phantom Fortress Mugenjo made this an awesome and must play game for fans and non-fans alike. Overall I'd rate UNH 2 a 9.0 out of 10.-NarutoBebop

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2

I can't wait for June 25th to roll around because, I will finally get my hands on Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2 for the PSP. I didn't get a chance to own the first UNH game but, I'm not going to miss this chance to own UNH 2. I've read, seen and heard a lot of great things about this game, which makes me want it all the more. Included in UNH 2 are over 20 playable characters to use at your disposal with the inspection of a massive Phantom Fortress known as the Mugenjo, that has mysteriously appeared over the Hidden Leaf Village in a brand new original storyline. If I were to assemble a three man ninja squad to enter the Phantom Fortress Mugenjo to inspect it's mysteries and find out how to defeat it. First I'd choose Shikamaru Nara as squad leader for his intelligence, being calm under pressure and his ability to lead others. Second I'd choose Neji Hyuga for his all seeing Byakugan which he can use to find impending danger ahead as well as being able to see enemies chakra network, his awesome Gentile Fist fighting skills and his all powerful 8 Trigrams arts. Third I'd pick the knuckle head ninja himself Naruto Uzumaki why you ask because, I know he's short on brainpower but, he makes up for it with his fighting energy, his never say die attitude and let's not forget the Nine Tailed Fox in his belly which he can call on for an immense ammount of chakra or if his life or friends lives are in trouble can transform into an almost unbeatable fighter powered by the Nine Tails himself. I simply cant wait for UNH 2 to release on June 25th. Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3

Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3 review

Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3 is in my opinion the best Naruto game available right now. I know some people might think that, because UN 3 was released on a last generation system (PS 2) that the game probably doesn't offer as much as it would if it were released on a next gen system. I own Naruto Rise of a Ninja for the XBOX 360, I like the HD graphics and not much else. I think Namco Bandai makes great anime games and they did great with the first two Ultimate Ninja games, but they decided to leave the UN series on the PS2 with a bang. I thought UN 2 was great, but they outdid themselves with UN 3. The 42 playable characters (after everyone's unlocked) are all great, I especially like the addition of the 1st, 2nd and 4th (Yellow Flash) Hokages. I wish some of the unlockable characters had more Ultimate Jutsu's (Special Moves), that's my only gripe. I've read alot of people's comments about breezing through the game in 5 or 6 hours, but there are quite a few more things to find and do. I should know, I've also finished the main part of the game. I keep on playing and I've played for over 40 hours now and keep finding new things to do like- training with Lee or Guy and tree climbing with Sakura, helping to find or capture various character animals, testing your shuriken aim with Ten Ten or trying your Naruto knowledge, playing the slots at Tanzaku Town or plain old fighting other characters and much more. I still like this game as much as the day I got it (March 26th) and will keep playing it long after this review. I played UN 2 for almost 90 hours and plan to play UN 3 for at least 100 hours, until I find everything there is to find. I like to find all the little things in a game, which is one of the reasons I will play this game so much. I'll also keep leveling up all of my favorite characters, like I did in UN 2, which is the main reason I logged so many hours playing. Currently Naruto is my highest character at level 30 and my favorite, because of the Nine Tailed Rasengan Ultimate Jutsu that when completed will allow you to play as Nine Tailed Naruto Fox mode 2, which in turn allows you to make quick work of your opponent. I'm leveling others like Sasuke, Neji and the 1st, 2nd and 4th Hokages which is why Naruto is only at Level 30. I think leveling up and fighting with those characters is what makes the replay value so high in my opinion. I'm a pretty big Naruto fan and maybe a little biased with my opinions of this game, not only is this a must have for Naruto fans, but non fans will also enjoy this game. -NarutoBebop
