Haha! And happy Mother's Day!

For Mother's Day, I cleaned my room, vaccuumed the house, and went shopping with my Mom. If that doesn't sound like a great gift, let me tell you, I really dislike all those things. But hey, with all Mom does for the family, I can do that much for her...oh, yeah, and we also played pranks. I'll tell you about it.

Where to start...

When my best friend heard that I was going shopping, she of course had to go with us. She loves shopping, and she loves the chance to dress me up like a doll, which I rarely let anyone do. So she came with us. Mom really does like the whole girly-girl, mother-daughter shopping thing. I don't know why I've never liked shopping. Well, part of it I do know, but I really really don't like it. It makes me tense and nervous and impatient. Okay, I'm weird. So we wrapped up the clothes-shopping part quickly, when I'd had about as much of being dressed up like a doll as I could take. And my friend decided she wanted new ear guages. She needed two of them--a big one because her other big one keeps falling out, and a small one because the place where she'll soon be working doesn't allow dangly jewelry. So we went to get her guages. Where we went shopping, there was this little statue on one of the streets. I can't thoroughly describe it because that could tell people too much about where I live. (Sorry, I'm paranoid.) But in the statue, there is a little girl wearing a skirt, and the skirt is flying up just a little bit. If you knelt, you could see up the skirt. So my friend and I waited by the statue. Whenever we saw anyone we knew, we said to them, "Oh, by the way, did you know there's something written on the underside of the girl's skirt? And SO many people fell for it. My friend is a GENIUS for thinking that one up. In fact, we really need to film it next time. You have to understand, this is a very public street. So there are many people milling around, watching someone kneel and stare hard up the skirt, frowning and re-angling their head and saying loudly, "I don't know, I don't see it. I really don't see it. I don't...I don't think there is one. Where is it?" Funny? Yes. If you live in an area where there is a statue of someone in a skirt, robe, or dress, you should definitely try it. Film it, too, if you can.
