I have a lot to say. First, I got a haircut. It's not really short, but a lot shorter than I'm used to. I like it. It's so light now, and it isn't as tangled all the time.
Also, today for our school, we all did community service. I wound up picking up a live trout. (Long story.) Also, I got to eat ice cream that was made with liquid nitrogen. (They call it that, but it's actually a gas.) If you ever get a chance to see that, it is AWESOME! It's like sci-fi, only edible. My ice cream looked like rainy driveway gravel, but it was delicious.
Um, so the reason I am posting is because of something my friend and I were discussing. It's about how everyone needs things hugs and nice gestures. Everyone needs someone who will be there for them. I try to be there for people when I can, but sometimes they don't want it because they're afraid to show emotion, like they're ashamed of letting someone see them cry. Which is dumb, because everyone has emotions. Everyone cries sometimes, right? And everyone laughs sometimes and gets angry or confused...so the general message of this, I guess, is to try and be there for others, and to let others comfor you when you need it. Don't be ashamed of having human emotions and needs...that's what the title of this is about. It's sort of an inside joke between my friend and I. It's a really long story involving fictional characters, nightmares, baby blankets, and many other things.
