I just got back from Maine. We stayed in Old Orchard Beach for part of the trip, and near York Beach for another part. We went to Portland and we also saw Nubble Light. It was an awesome trip, except I got a sunburn. Not a burn, that's an understatement...I got scorched. It's because of my new bathing suit, I've never had a bathing suit that's open in the back before...so I forgot to get my back with sunscreen. So now I have a giant red circle in the middle of an expanse of paleness. (I don't tan. I wish I could. My skin offers two tones, and both can be found on a standard candy cane.) Other than that, though, I had fun. I bought gifts for my friends there and I saw some awesome bumper stickers. My favorites:

I've got a perfect body. (But it's in my trunk and it's starting to smell).
Ok, so that last one...Yuck. I'm sorry. My sick sense of humor, yeah. I also got a new windchime to hang in my room. I had one before, but it broke. I said to my brother, "Muggles think these keep evil away...but they're wrong." We almost lost our bags to an extremely fat and aggressive seagull (Dad had to chase our bags down the beach) and we saw a pod of dolphins on our whale watch. (They were swimming alongside the boat!) So, yeah, that....was our trip to Maine. I'll be leaving again in a couple days to see more relatives.

Oh, damn...I should've gotten some nice pictures for you guys...Oh, well...Dad got some pictures, so maybe I'll upload those.
