I got home yesterday, so here, as promised, I'll give you some details on our trip. We flew into Tampa, Florida. We spent a lot of time in our hotel swimming pool. We went to the zoo, where we saw many things, including two turtles who were very involved in doing the nasty if you get my drift. There was this little boy there who yelled, "Daddy, look, there's one turtle on top of another turtle!" That made my cousin and I laugh so hard. We also saw a manatee there that had had her tail savaged by a boat propeller. She was still recovering, but the zoo plans to release her into the wild soon. We went to Busch Gardens, an amusement park, where we rode a lot of rollercoasters. Our favorites were Montu, Kumba (which was sadly not working) and, of course, sheikra. Sheikra is a rollercoaster where there are 3 rows or seats, 8 seats in a row, and a 200-foot vertical drop. What the ride does is, it takes you to the top and then hangs you down over the drop for a few seconds before letting you go. My brother pulled the same thing he did last year--got to the front of the line with us, then bailed out last second. I was kinda mad at him for that, just because it meant my aunt had to go back down with him, and I knew she'd really wanted to go on that ride. We also did the new rollercoaster, the Cheetah Hunt, which was very good, but not worth the two-hour line. We went to a waterpark and got many wedgies on waterslides. We went to the Wiki Wachee spring, which was beautiful, but it rained most of that day. We went to a museum where I got to ride a bike on a wire a couple stories above the ground. I also purchased a book there called 1000 unforgettable senior moments and gave it to my grandma. We then went to an aquarium, where we fought with a bird for my hat (we won) and saw some obese sharks. On the way ack, our flight was delayed for three hours, so I spent a lot of time reading in the gift shop. We all got really sick of listening to the intercom, which periodically announces that you should never leave your bags unattended, you should never take any bags from a stranger, report anything suspicious, et cetera. Back at my grandparents' house in New York, I went to see Harry Potter for the fourth time. Then we went to the annual family picnic, and I got to hold a really cute baby who spit up on me twice. So yeah, I had a lot of fun, and now I'm home.
I'm home
