Houkou grabbed my arm harshly, I didn't mind though. I was just as surprised as him looking up at the open window.
"Please tell me you opened that Houkou. Please tell me..." I began to beg.
He froze there and didn't answer. He than shook his head and made a break for the door, dragging me along.
As we ran up the long stairs, my heart raced. Hikari wouldn't open a window, no, she couldn't have.
We stopped abruptly in front of the door. Houkou carefully reached out for the handle and twisted it quickly, swinging the door open.
I gasped as I looked over at the empty perfect bed. Houkou was the first to move, he walked slowly to the bed and knelt before it. He looked up at the window and mumbled something.
I joined him, standing. The bed was just as perfect as when she was tucked in neatly. She obviously didn't roll around much in her sleep. I wonder what she dreamed about before she disappeared.
I thought about these little things in order to calm myself.
"She couldn't have gotten far." I heard Houkou whisper as he got up. "Maybe we can find her and-"
He stopped. We both knew that we didn't have a clue where to begin.
But we will search and hopefully come up with clues...
