i don't know if i've ever mentioned this, but my favourite anime series of all time is gundam wing.
so i'm participating in this event called "GW Big Bang" which is a fanfic/fanart event in the fandom where the authors post a summary of their stories, and artists go and claim each one to illustrate at least one piece for. at first i wasn't signed up because by the time i knew about the event, sign ups were already over. however, there was one story that nobody claimed, so the coordinator of the event called out for another artist, and i volunteered.(⊙ヮ⊙)
the summary of this story suggests that it's a mystery/romance that takes place in the roaring twenties, and Duo would be falling in love with an OC female despite being gay. although it's not my thing, i was gonna illustrate for it just like any other original story.
female OC's name is violet, and she has long, straight, silky black hair, and dresses to the nines in flapper fashion. with blue eyes. my author wants me to use lempricka's work as a reference. here's an example~ (⊙ヮ⊙)

THIS FANFIC TURNED OUT TO BE 1x2x1!!!! my OTP of OTPs is heero/duo.. or for those who know, 1x2x1~ ♥♥ if you don't, they're the couple that's the current background of my world. XD
i am super excited and giddy and i must redo all the art because now the nuance is completely different!! ლ(́◉◞౪◟◉‵ლ)
she told me that i'm not obligated to do any more art, and she opted to not tell me about this cuz heero's supposed to be so good at cross-dressing that no one knows til the end...

the point is, i'm super duper exhilarated and happy that this story actually turned out to be of my ship, but the downside is that more art needs to be pumped out of me! ヽ(；▽；)ノ with all that i'm doing for the conventions, time really is limited..
BUT, i do plan on redoing all the arts for this story (which is really well written!!) and once that's done i may create another world just to show it~ :D if things work out, perhaps i can illustrate some of *your* stories..? ;)
