homg i've not posted here in ages! xD been so busy putting my art stuffs together in a coherent portfolio of some sort, while bugging everyone who would listen to do collab/trades with me. xD

anyhoot.. the next convention i'll be attending is YoumaCon! =D it takes place Oct.31-Nov3 in... DETROIT! lmao. i'll be going with FalseDelusion and SnowP, and meeting up with Crimson-Rose~! 8D if any of you are coming drop a note! xD
BUT! (ultra sad news tiem) my sister is getting married (bless her), but her flock of bridesmaids have planned her bridal shower on the saturday of the con!!! DDDDD8 as the sister of the bride, i asked that they rearrange the times, but i was informed that both families and friends of 50+ people have already agreed to it. i'm sorry, but WHY WAS I NOT TOLD UNTIL NOW?? imagine my frustrations.
so, in a flurry of last minute planning, i'm dragging a friend along as my stand-in at the artist alley for ALL OF SATURDAY (*violent sobs*)while i make a 5hr trek back to toronto then another 5hrs returning to detroit ON THE SAME DAY so i could show my face for 2hrs. =_=
i love my sister, and i want to be there, but this whole situation is just so incredibly aggravating, of no fault of hers. #endrant.
alas, this problem is technically taken care of, and i'll feel much less bitter about it once both events are done and over with ahahaha. =_=
meanwhile, i'm drawing a bunch of doujinshi and stuffs before year ends.. if i get stuff printed in time i may even give some away as christmas presents!! 8D
