Hello Everyone :)
This morning i was about to leave work, and before i came home, i decided to check out the new dvd releases that came out last night. While i was wondering around the dvds, i saw that the Street Fighter: Legend of Chun - Li movie had came in. At first I hesitated to buy it, but as i was browsing the dvd case - I saw that it had the Theatrical version as well as the Unrated version. It also contained another dvd which a Limited release of the Full Length Animated Origins Comic movie.
It was enough to put the thought in my head that maybe it's not as bad as ive heard the movie is, so i ended up buying it :)
Here is a pic of my dvd copy :)
Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun - Li
So far, out of all honesty - The movie is actually pretty enjoyable lol. As a pretty big Street Fighter fan, I can honestly say that there are some things that i would change, but as a movie that is loosely based on characters from the game - it is alot better than i expected. The fighting is done well, and it is not too over-the-top. It was cool to see that they incorporated the "Nash" character in the movie, and it was also really cool to see the actor Robin Shou again. Most people will recognize him as the guy who played Liu Kang from the Mortal Kombat movies. He has grown older, but he is definitely still awesome, he still looks to be in awesome condition as well :)
Im pretty close to the end of the movie (im currently watching it right now lol) and i actually feel obligated to reccomend that this movie is definitely worth a rent. It's a cool action movie even if you arent a fan of the Street Fighter games. And if you are a Street Fighter fan, this movie can still be fun and enjoyable, even if alot of things arent exactly like they are portrayed in the videogames :)
It was fun to do another guest post and i sure hope to do it again soon, hopefully this post will encourage you guys to check out the movie, i hope you all enjoy it :)

Ken & Ryu
Hello everyone,
It's been a while since ive guest posted here, and since xaos and myself spent a good part of the weekend chatting about Street Fighter stuff, i felt the urge to put up a post before i got too lazy and while i was in the Street Fighter mood lol. I hope i dont start rambling, thats for sure lol.
As some of you may know, I am a crazy fan of the Street Fighter 2 V anime series, and recently ive picked back up on watching my dvd set of the series again :)
Everytime i watch any of the episodes, i realize how awesome Ken and Ryu are as a team. It also shows me how 2 people that arent even related can be even closer than most brothers are. I have a couple friends like that, and it seems that no matter how long we are apart - the moment we see each other again we pick right back up from where we left off lol. Ive grown very fond of chatting with xaos, especially about Street Fighter related stuff, whether it is attacks, characters, fighting styles, back stories and created stories and thoughs of our own, because we always seem to get the full benefit out of everything :)
Everyone knows that Ken is my favorite character lol, he is exclusively the only character i use - simply because i believe he resembles the physical look and fighting spirit/attitude that i would have if i were in his place. What he lacks in skill or technique, he more than makes up for with passion, heart, and an overwhelming will to overcome any obstacle, no matter the cost. I suppose that is what attracts me to his character the most, because when im at work and i hear the guys talking about who would win in a fight, i always say "whoever has the greatest will to win or survive will win". I often get laughed at, but there are times when they totally understand lol.
With the help of Street Fighter 2 V, the Street Fighter universe has become alot more than just a videogame to me in a sense. Ive found myself enjoying the anime series and multiple anime movies i own, and ive also found myself enjoying and appreciating the videogames more than i did as a child too. I guess it is just one of those things that you realize as you get older, like a fond memory or something like that. :)
Years go by and people change, but Ken & Ryu will always be the same and i think thats what gives fans like me that good street fighter feeling :)
stay strong,
Yamcha
Forgot To Mention
I seriously can't believe I forgot to mention that April 24th (tomorrow) the DLC Championship Mode is coming to PSN and XBLA for Street Fighter 4, it's supposed to come with a lot of stuff. Oh, and did I mention... it's free?
