Sorry for the lack of updates lately, y'all! I'm too tired to write a proper post, but I thought I'd mention what I've been up to lately: mostly job hunting and agent hunting.
Thus the post title. When something good happens in one of those ventures, something negative happens in another! This weekend, for example, I had four agents looking at my book. Then today, I had a great interview for one job and was contacted to schedule an interview for another, but then I was also rejected by two of the four agents without any helpful feedback. ;; My head is sort of spinning.
On a positive note, though, both jobs I'm interviewing for are jobs in the Japanese embassy in the capital. So I may be moving to D.C at the end of the summer if all goes well! I had hoped to go back to Boston or give Seattle or San Francisco a try, but I hear there are some cute neighborhoods outside the district, and it would be neat to work in such a historic place. Fingers crossed!
