Sessa sniffsthe drink then has a sip, Dusk can already see the Ascention taking effect,"It turns out you may not be able to take me home if you keep drinking that, It contains Ascention, 98% alcohol, the highest legal alcoholic drink in the world."He stares at her with enthusiasm, he was impressed she was still upright.
Sessa: it smells strange...
Sessa glanced around the tavern as Dusk went up to get drinks, the people there were mostly men, some red faced and talking without making any sense or just looking like they were about to pass out. She narrowed her eyes a little, it smelled very weird and she didn't like it, the scent was clouding her sense of smell. When Dusk came back he slid into the booth seat across from Sessa and handed her a glass of orange juice, smiling mischievously. She took it and sniffed it, the smell of citrus was infused with the weird smell of the tavern, but it wasn't from around her. Taking a small sip of it she noticed that it tasted different from the orange juice she'd had before, so Sessa glanced up at Dusk suspiciously, wondering what he had had put in it.
Dusk: Tavern
Dusk pulls Sessa into the tavern and throws her in a booth,"Im gunna get some drinks," he puts his bag next to her and walks to the bar."Umm hey, can i get a Scooner of straight bourbon, preferably Jim Beam, and a glass of orange juice, with a hint of Ascention. haha that will get her buzzin." Dusk pcks up the drinks and walks over to the booth, he hands Sessa the drink, "Here you go......"
Amarie ((Empathy))
Amarie's eyes grew sad with what Ed was saying. She wished she could do something to help him, but sometimes... it was a situation that just couldn't be helped with. She heaved a heavy sigh and looked down. Ed must of noticed her strong Empathy to him, as he let go of one of her hands and started guiding her gently to the other side of school, just a little bit off of campus, but somewhere where they would be safe from the hunters that were on the prowl for all the vampires. She smiled beaming a little at the thought of normality and her eyes shining with happiness looked up at Ed
'O.k... where to?' She laughed for the first time properly, unable to contain her hapiness, The laughter felt good. It released so much tension.
