Amarie was so taken aback by the hug, her face quite literally was saying what the hell?! She didn't hug back, but she didn't flinch away either. If she was being honest to herself, she would of said that the hug actually was quite uncomfortable to her, but she wan't being honest to herself... she wasn't being anything to herself she was just in a little hurricane of worry in her head and didn't know how to get out of it... she didn't show it though. She was a great believer of 'If one causes one's problem. Than that one should fix it'
It wasn't his or his brothers business and she wouldn't let it be. She didn't want them getting into trouble or getting hurt for her own reasons and so she kept it to herself. Instead she looked at Adarius after he let go of the embrace around her with brows up, the wtf expression still plastered on her face and looking quite gone out at him. When he gave her a hard look to say work, her eyebrows lifted higher and she had to use alot of control over her face to keep the cold wtf glance still there and not laugh at him and his quick change of heart.
She looked down at her lined note pad and pen with brows furrowed with confusion *wtf just happened here?* she thought in her mind, quite lost for words, but feeling welcome and happy. Though she didn't show it as usual. She looked over at Zephyr, with a look of out right confusion still and then at the lad with him to see if they noticed the strange difference in Adarius... They didn't seem to, so then she looked back at Adarius and watched him as he worked. using the time to analyse her younger cousin... her face cold and calculating... *I bet they would cheer if they knew what I did to that teacher* she giggled in her head. She never showed her emotion.
