Looking around again, he noticed Ed still waiting for Amarie to return. He began to move towards him, when he was interrupted by Adarius. Turning around, he saw the determination in the young vampire's eyes, and he smiled, narrowing his own eyes very slightly in reply.

"Monsieur Necrosai, while I appreciate your enthusiasm, I think you underestimate what it is you ask of me." Durant smirked, almost certain of what the answer would be, yet he asked regardless. "Do you feel you are ready to challenge me?"
