"Just another day..." I was walking around but could not find Naruto anywhere. And I mean ANYWHERE I looked at Ichiraku's; no Naruto, I checked the training grounds; still no Naruto, I checked his house; not there.
Okay, I was getting annoyed, so I checked with Tsunade to see if he was on a mission. "No, haven't seen him since yesterday. He didn't even say anything about leaving. He left this red stone though, but he had an odd expression on his face. Like he wasn't himself."
She handed my the stone. "Do you want me to look into this?"
"No, it's just been a day. Naruto could be off somewhere training, so it's nothing to worry about now. But I do want you to keep that stone. If you do find Naruto, report back."
"Right," and with that I left with the stone.
"This is unusual," Kitsune said.
"I know, but we can't worry about it now. We just need to check in with Jess and Soji about the other stone."
"Hey, girlie, why are you keeping me in this bag?"
I stopped. "Kitsune? Was that you?"
"No, I'm too big now to fit in your bag."
"Then who was-" my eyes widened, "Crap, don't tell me!"
I looked in my bag and a small nine-tailed kitsune popped out. "Geez, it's a bit crowded in there don't you think?"
"What? Are you the?"
"Yeah, I'm the stone."
"Okay, I know my research is off now," I muttered.
"Your shoulder is comfortable."
I looked at the fox and he was on my shoulder What the hell?
"Doesn't look like he'll be leaving," Kitsune snickered.
"Just when I thought I had enough foxes. I guess another won't really make a difference," I said.
"Are you going to name him like you named us?"
"I'll just call him Blaze."
"You going along with the fact he's the fire/leaf stone?"
"Yeah... Speaking of stones, we'd better hurry back. I have no idea what Typhoon could be causing. Especially since, knowing my friend Jess, she's going to feed him."
