see i went to hobby lobby and boom i got 40% off colored pencils so i splurged an got prisma colors the 48 count >.< now i feel obligated to work with them ha ha!
Great to see you experimenting! I think in the end we always will favor a limited amount of mediums :D This saturday I actually went to an art store and took a look at the markers.. but they were really too expensive to buy just to try them out :)
you're welcome! Hugs for you :D
Ya markers are never my thing unless its black. I've attempted acrylic as you can see from my work but i'm just not satisfied with it.... water colors i loooove for flowers thats about it. I guess i'm trying to step out of my comfort zone.. but i always fall back to pencils lol... i just post alot of color work i've been practicing with. I just love all of your guy's input
for me definitely digital artwork and I also love pencil & colored pencils. Arcylic can be great too but I'm lazy and it's a lot more work -- plus i'd have the feeling that I would ruin expensive paper when I sketch on it / to draw.
Markers are totally not my thing. Can't blend well. Hmm and watercolors is ok, but takes tons of time to bring depth into it and gradually let the colors pop out. I'd probably be careful not too use too much color but then I just have too keep on adding more "layers" of "thin coloring".
hmmm...I would say pencil and charcoal. I mean they are easy to get and are easy to clean up :D I just like to do value drawings :) I like how it's so easy to manipulate the medium by using it to create textures and shadings. I always have them with me ^^
Oh i didnt take college credit classes but i was in all ap and ib classes. I literally had to fight tooth and nail for that class. Lol i wasnt allowed to pick my own courses or drop out of the ib classes my counselor said she knew my test scores
see i took it in high school (my only class i could pick on my own) and i still hang out with her. In college i'm just taking basic classes... art might be on my agenda next year (:
i wasnt either until my art teacher kept giving me assignments with colors... now i'm trying to focus on that to improve >.< hence all my work done in colors on here lol
i dont like the streaks in markers. Now i did enjoy these pastel water paint things they were fun. I dont really want to get into digital... i have photoshop but idk if i want to make the leap to that :/
I'm most comfortable with pencil and colored pencils. A few years ago, I started inking my drawings, and I like the look. Now I want to try digital art more. I also want to improve on using markers, which I don't normally use.
Call it karma. Call it luck. Me, I just don't give a... BOUNCE!

Oh my gosh, me too. I'm afraid to get anywhere near my drawings with colored pencils, but if I leave them they look so bare...
