Boom

"Keep your pants on," Taro said, not even looking over his shoulder, "You're as annoying as the spiders I summon."

"Who's the one in the cage?" D. snarled.

Taro looked at him for a second and then went back to the cards. "From my point of view, you."

D. growled and then talked to Lock. "FIND THEM! I WANT THEM DEAD!"

Meanwhile

"Well if it happened before, transformation will work again," Jess said to everyone else.

They were all transformed into D. clones. "... I'm going to need to take mulitple baths after this..." Deiara said, sticking her tongue out.

"I know, but it's worth a shot," Jess said and then lead the three to the other clones.

"We'd better not get seperated, dang it," Deiara muttered.

Rescue

"Oh god!" Jess yelled. The three people(okay two girls and a bat boy) plus the fox saw an army of dark Kyuubi clones heading towards them.

"So, what can you do exactly?" Jess asked Hybrid. Hybrid took out some playing cards and threw them at the army. The army exploded into bits.

"Exploding playing cards? Cool!" Jess exclaimed, "Now to save my friends and destroy D. once and for all." Jess led the way to the castle.

Meanwhile...

"Got any three's?" Taro asked, being normal as he looked at his cards.

"Go fissssssh." Hachi replied. Taro was playing gold fish with the Legendary 9. D. smirked at this sight.

"Soon all the villages will be mine! Lock, status report!!!" D. called to the boy.

"Well....Jess got away and now Hybrid is with her." Lock stuttered.

"WHAT!?!" D.Kyuubi roared with rage, "Can't you three do anything right around here!?"

Ally

"I've lived outside Halloween Town for a while," he explained to the two girls, while they hid in a cave to avoid more attacks by the annoying Dark fox.

"Really? I figured you'd be living there," Jess said.

"Well, I would've but Jack and my creator kicked me out," Hybrid said in disgust, "I stumbled upon the bogeyman's place and slipped in by accident, but at least he gave me a home."

Jess looked in surprise but in sypathy. "That's terrible. I wouldn't think Jack would do something like that but at least you do have a good place to live," she smiled.

"Thanks... But now, I don't have any clue where Oogie went and Akane is off somewhere. I ended up trying to fly through here to find them but then a large shadow appeared and started to burn the forest," he explained.

Jess clentched her fists and Deiara glared at the ground. "That rotten D. He shouldn't be alive for all this suffering he's caused," Deiara said.

"He's low, that's for sure," Jess said, then turned back to Hybrid, "How about you come with us for a while, you can't fly and you can help us out."

Hybrid looked at his wing and then back at Jess. He hestitated but then finally nodded. "I do owe you."

Then he got up and bowed, causing Jess to laugh. "Don't be formal with me, please," Jess said.

Then Deiara's eyes widened at what she was looking at and the fox started growling. "Umm... guys? You may want to take a look at this."

Hybrid

After Deiara explained to Jess how not to leave Taro and Celena walking through a booby-trapped castle, they both walked in a forest with the young fox when suddenly a forest fire started from the other side. A loud screech was heard in the flames. Jess ran to find a bat stuck under a burning tree. The flames engulfed in one of the bat's wings. Jess struggled as she tried lifting the tree and dragging the bat to safety. The fox which liked Deiara transformed into a fire hose and washed the fire away.

"Are you okay?" Jess asked, then realized that this was a boy AND a bat at the same time. The boy/bat opened his eyes.

"Where am I?" He said in a raspy voice.

"Dude, you are at this forest when one of D.Kyuubi's dark flames burned you." Deiara explanied, examining 'her' fox. Jess wrapped the boy's wing with a bandage.

"So you work for Oogie, I assume?" Jess asked.

"How did you know?" The boy's black and red eyes widened.

"Two reasons...One, my friend Akane works for him as well and two, I can tell by your King of Spades." Jess pointed to one of the playing cards.

"Anyway because of the fire, you might not be flying for a while. My name is Jess and this is Deiara. Since that you are kinda stuck here, you could at least tell us your name and how you came into this world." Jess smiled. The boy hesitated, thinking whether the two girls were friend or foe. But seeing as Jess knows Oogie and she doesn't hold a grudge against him, the boy agreed.

"My name is Hybrid..."

Square One

"Don't tell me I'm back where I started!" Jess whined.

"Does my cousin have an air-head?" Deiara asked.

Jess groaned. "All of that for nothing!"

Deiara looked at her really annoyed. "You think you're disappointed? I got smacked upside the head with something, nearly killed over some stew, and you think you're having the bad day?" Deiara said sarcastically.

Out of that, Jess laughed a little. "I'm sorry Deiara, it's just been stressful."

Deiara's black eyes started to turn the color red for a slight second but then faded. "It's all right Jess," she smirked.

Something weird out of that happened, in that instant a weird summoning circle formed an an orange fox popped out of the portal and landed at Deiara's feet. Jess blinked, confused and Deiara did the same. The little fur-ball sat at Deiara's feet and scratched at its ear. "Chu~" was all that came out of its mouth.

"Aw... that fox is so cute!" Jess said, putting her hand down to pet it, but Deiara motioned her hand away.

"No! Jess! What if it's D. in disguse or one of his minions un?" Deiara questioned.

"It's all right, Deiara, it's just a fox," she blinked.

Deiara was about to say something but the fox jumped and crawled its way up Deiara's shoulder. "Chu~" it said again in Deiara's ear and then licked her neck.

Jess giggled. "I think it likes you, you should keep it."

"No," Deiara said, "I can't keep a plant alive, how could I keep this alive?"

"Chu~"

Jess looked at Deiara and the fox again. "Just think about it, we'll deal with it later, we need to find D," Jess said and then her eyes widened, "Oh no... Taro! Celena! I forgot!"

Deiara looked at Jess as she started to pace around. "Oh man, where are they?"
