The Anime Thir13en Ghosts: Gail Cyrus's Notes

The Torso
Chicago

I kind of felt sorry for The Torso. In the UnderWorld people called him crazy like The Jackal... but this ghost was the deranged, pathetic soul of Alexander "Chicago" Jones.

Chicago was born in Chicago and loved to gamble. He loved playing card games; mostly Black Jack. One Day, Chicago heard that there was a mysterious gambler named Oogie Boogie winning all the time. Chicago decided to go against him, which sealed his fate.

To find out his future, he went to a gypsy fortune teller. After the gypsy told him that he was going to lose, Chicago ignored it and left. In anger, the gypsy put a spell on Chicago, making him able to talk to playing cards.

Chicago finally met Oogie and betted his life and cash on a black jack game. When he lost the game, Oogie took away Chicago's human form, replaced it with a red bat's, and demanded the cash. Unfortunatly, Chicago didn't have the money. He argued that the playing cards made him lose. He then cussed out Oogie and ran away. Rumor has it that the cards, angered that Chicago cussed out their master, came to life and sliced up Chicago into many pieces. Chicago kept saying, "No!" over and over again until he died. The cards then wrapped up his body parts in spider silk and threw it in the ocean.

I found him in a beach cove while on vacation. Since he could only run into walls, it was easy for me to capture. Out of the 13, Chicago is the confused/pathetic ghost. He is also an annoying burden to everyone and he still believes that cards really talk. Since of his body "condition", the only methods of killing would be screaming and decapitation. Sage, The Torso's CareTaker, learned that the hard way then he encountered The Torso's rage. These are Sage's tapes:
