Akane and Deiara nodded, flipping Jess over. Akane pulled her hand away quickly though (nobodies, if in contact with their original selves for too long, they will fade back into the body). Deiara was confused about Akane's reaction but figured she wanted this to get done quickly. "All right, let's see..."

Taro put the chakra covered fingers to Jess's chest and pressed down. He closed his eyes and put his other hand clutching her wrist, trying to feel for a pulse.
