Kyuubi's life was turning downhill, but then he started to think. "Maybe there's an up side to getting killed," he said, closing his eyes, "I'd probably be a trapped wandering spirit, but that's not so bad."

Taro looked at Shukaku. "It's not working," he said simply.

"He'll come around."

"It doesn't look that way from his expression," Taro said, looking at Kyuubi.
