Jess tried slashing Sasori but all she slashed was his cloak, which got shredded and reveiled a shocking sight to Jess, from what any of us would think. Sasori's body was no more than actually a puppet's. The body had flexible joints for easy movement, compartments for weapons and poisons, portuting puppet parts were also on Sasori's back, and a case on his chest from what it appeared to be surrpunding the only human part left of the body he once had... which was his heart.
Despite what you think, Jess was shocked for only a minute, but then she continued trying to fight him off. Punching at him and slashing as Sasori was using his own body to defend himself and fight her off.
The Akatsuki didn't cheer or try to push Sasori on but stood and watched silently, judging both of their movements. 'She's too distracted about the fight to realize that she's been captured,' Sasori thought as he dodged a punch Jess had tried to hit him with, 'But, I'm not losing... even though she's blood, I'm not losing to her.'
Sasori grabbed a poison senbon and allowed Jess to slash at him and he stabbed the senbon into her arm.
Meanwhile
"Geez, could you at least flame down?" Hybrid commented, licking his hand.
Sam glared, "Be lucky I'm even helping you Hybrid."
"I could care less if you help me or not," Hybrid retorted, "It's Spits you're helping, not me."
Spits came out and was on Hybrid's shoulder in spider form. Sam looked at him in a little bit of confusion. "I get how you got into the mess with Thorn but... I'm still confused on the whole you have a girlfriend thing. You've been bragging about it all over but I still don't get how that even worked out..."
"You don't have one," Hybrid commented giving him a dull annoyed look, "No wonder you don't get it..."
"I get it," Sam snapped, "It's just hard to believe that-"
"Can we get off the talk and kill the crazy bitch before dollface is eaten!?" Spits shouted.
Sam and Hybrid looked at the spider for a minute then looked at each other, frowning, "Fine"
