~Tsunami~
“Hey Tsunami, what’s up?” I whirled around as I was tapped on the shoulder, seeing a chunin I recognised as Sayuri standing there. I’d spoken to her a few times, so it wasn’t like she was a stranger.
I smiled. “Hey! Not much, just excited to be getting my squad,” I had to resist the urge to squeal. “What about you?”
She shrugged. “I’m excited too!” she grinned. “But it’s a little weird that the chunin are getting new squads.”
I nodded, understanding what she meant. It was unusual to break up a team that already knew how to work together, but then again I never really knew what my dad way thinking. “Well hey, now you just have to pray you don’t get stuck with someone you don’t like,” I teased.
“I didn’t think about that...” she frowned lightly and I just chuckled.
A little while later everyone else showed up and we took our seats as our Sensei entered the room. “Ready for your new squads?” she grinned, waiting for some kind of response. The class erupted in cheers and she nodded, satisfied. “Alrighty then! Let’s get this show on the road!”
She glanced at the list in her hand and began reading out squad numbers and names.
“Squad two... Natsume, Hatsume, well isn’t that fun?” she chuckled quickly at the similar names. “And... Nadoka,” she nodded.
“Squad five... That’s a bit interesting...” she cut off. “Our only two man squad, Tomoyo and Sayuri. Get along kiddies,” she laughed.
“And now for our genin. Squad six... Kai, Trinity and Shichiro. Congradulations,” she nodded.
“Squad nine...” she started, raising an eyebrow at something in her notes. “Tsunami, Kenji...” I mentally cheered, I didn’t mind Kenji, he was a pretty good friend. “...And Niji,” she finished and something dropped in my stomach. Oh great, anyone but her.
Sensei clapped her hands and smiled at all of us when she was finished. “Ok then, your Jonin will be here soon, so good luck and once again, congrats!” she gave us all a thumbs up before leaving the room.

Naruto walked into the lounge when he was sure all the Jonin had arrived, taking a seat in the chair that sat facing everyone. “First, I’d like to thank all of you for agreeing to be squad leaders,” he nodded, getting all the formalities out of the way. Yadda yadda, this and that and all the boring stuff.
“Tamaki,” he looked to the silver haired male. “I want you to take squad nine... And good luck, you’ll need it,” he told him.
“Takashi, you’ll be taking squad six,” he nodded.
“The leaders for squad five, seeing as how it’s only a two manned squad, will be Emiko and Markus.”
“Squad two will be taken by Bihn.”
When he was finished he made shooing motions to the Jonin. “Now go meet your new squads.”

Ok! So if anyone’s unhappy with their placement, tell me and I’ll change it! Jonin just take your squads out for a bit of learning about each other, and instead of me getting stuck from there and making the whole thing boring I’ma start teh plot! >:3
