Noir is not tall by any means standing at 5’7” her frame small weighing at 115, but muscular none the less. Her hair silver w/very soft blue highlights, the length extending down past her buttocks. She has no bangs, but she does pull her hair up on the sides twisting it in the back center of her head using two hair pins of silver and ivory with two long, thin blue ribbons that extend from the pins, one ribbon on each pin has a small fan shaped charm that hangs from it. Her eyes are a dark blue with a sky blue burst in the center. Wearing a traditional kimono of the wind dancer; this consisted of three colors, two shades of blue and white. The left side a solid blue with fan embossments adorned on it, the right side wide strips of white and a midnight blue. Under that Nori wore a solid white Kosode. Her twin zanpakuto hung on her back one extending with the hilt upward over her right shoulder and the other hilt extending downward to her left side. The twin zanpakuto shares a sheath; which is securely attached with a silver chain that crosses over her chest; which there, is well endowed. However, being well refined and dignified in her attire; her body is well hid beneath her clothing.
Personality:
Nori is all about intelligence and communication. She has a talent and love for using her mind and expressing herself. She is a bowerbird (a person who collects miscellaneous things) mentally, and takes an interest in all sorts of different things. Anything that gets her mind ticking will grab her interest. Nori is constantly trying to challenge her mental abilities and will make extra efforts to understand anything she puts her mind to. Anyone who engages her in quick-witted and thoughtful banter will win her heart for sure. However, her moods can swing from the positive to the negative quickly if approached in an aggressive manner; so the ones that do, must be prepared for some turbulences.
Communication is one of her favorite pastimes. Making her an excellent mediator and negotiator. Coupled with the fact that she’s always reasonable in the way she deals with people, this means someone can always depend on her having a balanced viewpoint, even in the fiercest of arguments. Making decisions is an area in which she excels, for the simple reason she has the ability to look at all sides of an issue.
Learning will always be one of Nori’s passions — she doesn’t believe there’s ever a good time to limit someone’s desire to improve their mind. She has a great love of the written as well as the spoken word, and will often put pen to paper — or hands to keyboard — to get her own thoughts down. Sometimes this is just so she can work out what she thinks about a particular issue or event. Nori’s way with words is her best tool for making a lasting impression. Being spontaneous in many areas and liking to explore the unknown gives Nori a strong connection to travel and short journeys. She’ll often feel restless, and her itchy feet will set her wandering. These journeys may not be long, but there will be plenty of them — she is always on the go. Nori is always thirsty for new experiences, and even on short journeys or in transit; she’ll throw herself into meeting new and unusual people.
Zanpakuto:
Nori’s twin zanpakuto hangs on her back one hilt extending upward over her right shoulder and the other hilt extending downward to her left side. The twin zanpakuto shares a sheath; which is securely attached with a silver chain that crosses over her chest. The hilts are wrapped with a sapphire wrapping. The inlay fans, and cap in silver. The swords bare no guard just a simple silver ring that divides the blade from the hilt.
Zanpakuto abilities:
Nori does battle in two different ways; one being with two traditional katanes and the other; two traditional fans, one fan larger than the other. Both are used offensively and defensively, although her fighting style and powers border more so-on the upfront-attacks. With her fans, she is able to call down a variety of wind-related powers, including and not limited to: summoning a large tornado, and shooting out wind-blades. Because Nori controls the wind, any long-range or airborne attacks are rendered completely ineffective, and often backfire on her opponents. Her attacks are swift, accurate, debilitating and deadly. She often fires off several of them in quick succession, forcing her challengers to concern themselves solely with dodging them if they want to escape injury and death. She has also been known to wrap Kido around her attacks.
These long-range abilities keep her at a comfortable distance from her opponents. For those who do manage to come within striking-distance, a strike is not guaranteed, as she has proven quite nimble and light on her feet, capable of dodging swords and blows with relative ease.

Education:
Nori attended the Shino Academy graduating with high marks in all her classes. She was not the smartest or the strongest, but she did hold high marks and excelled quickly in all areas of Hakuda, Hoho, Kido, and Zanjutsu. When learning how to communicate with the spirit of her Zanpakuto she was the first in her class to achieve this. Also learning how to release and control her Zanpakuto in Shikai and Bankai in her second year. When she graduated she was top of her class and highly decorated with honors. She was a shoo-in for a seated position in the 13 Court Guard Squad. However, Nori had other plans. She was not done with farthing her learning. She wanted to learn a forgotten art; an invincible martial art, known as Mutsu Enmei-Ryu, an unarmed style that allows the user to defeat any number of armed opponents using incredible speed and strength. And the only place she could do that was from the man that still taught it. Mutsu Yagumo. So for the next 6 years she trained in the ways of the Mutsu Enmei-Ryu.
History/Background:
Nori was a young girl of about 3 or 4 when her father died leaving only her and her mother to fend for themselves on the streets of the Rukongai. However, the two did not fare so well with the reiatsu Nori was always putting off. She was always hungry and her mother would usually go hungry to make sure Nori was feed well, but that did not last long. With no work, no money, and now no home the two lived on the streets. Half starved to death they were found by a gentlemen of the Mutsu family; a low-class aristocratic family that lived within the Seireitei. He took both of them in giving Nori’s mother a job as his servant.
Yagumo having lost his spouse as well the year before Nori’s father past on. Had only one son, Takato Mutsu. He was a few years older than Nori and the two got along like they were siblings. It was no time and Yagumo looked upon Nori as his own daughter. Spoiling her just as bad if not more than, his own son. Though, there was one thing Yagumo would not give Nori. No matter how much she begged and pleaded, Yagumo would not teach her the forgotten art of the Mutsu Enmei-Ryu. She bugged him almost every day to teach her until one day he finally took your aside, sat her down, and explained why he would not teach her the art. Even though she was young she understood and she agreed and promised Yagumo she would learn how to control her reiatsu and channel it properly so she could become strong like she should be. The two shook on it as Yagumo told her with a tap on the end of her nose:
“You are the Wind and must learn how to hold back the gale.”
Smiling Nori went off happily. For years her and her mother were happy there as the years came and gone. In time Nori was a young woman and her mother was not getting any younger; only older, and in time she became ill and past on. Nori was now alone.
However, she was not as alone as she thought. Yagumo and his son looked at her as part of their family and in doing so he adopted her giving her the Mutsu name and once more a family. Nori was proud of her newfound background and honored it with every thing she was and in time she decided she was ready to fulfill the agreement she and Yagumo made so many years ago. She was going the Shino Academy. There she would learn what she needed to keep her agreement. Also never had there been a Mutsu within the ranks of the 13 Court Guard Squad and she thought it was about time there was. After she graduated with her high marks and honors and even with letters of resignation she received from her professor’s. She had one more thing to do before she could devote her life to the 13 Court Guard Squad. She went home to her father and brother and learned the families’ art of fighting. The Mutsu Enmei-Ryu. A style of fighting that if she mastered would make her stronger, faster and almost unbeatable in a battle. For 6 years she trained and mastered the art. Surpassing even her brother. Both Yagumo and Takato were very proud of her.
