I wanted to write a final post with Patrick for PGR I wanted to give a reason for Patrick and Zane leaving. I wanted to have one last go with Patrick for PGR. I hope that everyone likes it. Let me know if I spelled anything wrong or got anyone's character wrong please. I have work today, but I will be back on tonight.

Hey Pat,
How have you been? We haven’t seen you in a while. We miss you. When are you coming home? Everyone in town misses seeing you as well. Don’t get mad we sent Zane out to go and find you. Why didn’t you call or send us a letter letting us know that you are alright? Your sisters have been worried about you. The day after you left your older sister got back from her trip and she didn’t know where you went. Why didn’t you say good bye?
All that aside what have you been up too for the past couple of years? We’ve been doing alright. Your older sister is going to be graduating from college in a week and your little sister is going to her first prom. I’m sure your older sister would love for you to be at her graduation. She’ll be the first from the family to graduate from college. It would mean the world to her if you came back home at least for that and possibly your sister’s grad party.
Your father got a promotion at his work and we are doing better. We all miss you and would like for you to come home. We understand if you don’t though we’ve hidden so much from you once you were injured that it would make since for you to leave. Well I could keep rambling on and on about what’s been going on, but you probably have things that you have to do. Keep your cousin Zane in line and keep him from getting hurt too bad from girls because of his pervertedness. I hope that you do come home and we all miss you and love you very much.

I looked up from the letter. Everyone was starting to get a bit nervous with the war coming up. In two days we were going to war. I was torn on what I should do. I sat there on the rooftop. The cool spring breeze brushing across my skin and through my hair. I wanted to help get Damaris back and defeat the water gods and their army, but…I don’t know…
“Here you are.” I heard the familiar voice of my girlfriend to the left of me. I looked over and saw her trying to get herself up on the roof.
I got up and helped her up the rest of the way. “What are you doing up here? I thought you didn’t like heights.” I stated.
“I-I don’t like heights, but I haven’t seen you all day and a-asked around if anyone had seen you and Zane told me that you were on the roof.” Maria replied clenching onto my arms tightly.
I chuckled a bit and folding up the letter from my mother as I walked Maria back over to where I was sitting.
“What’s that?” She asked me.
I hesitated to tell her at first then sat down again on the rooftop. “The reason why I’m up here.” I answered.
“That’s really vage Patrick.” Maria huffed crossing her arms and puffing out her cheeks.
I laughed a little at the way she looked then went back to looking out over the garden and maze where all of us in the mansion had been training for months for this war. I pulled my legs up to my chest. Wrapping my arms around my legs I rest my chin on my knees. “It’s a letter.” I finally answered after a few minuets of silence between us.
“Who’s the letter from?” She kept picking sitting down next to me.
“My mother.” I said not looking at her.
“That’s great what does it say?!” She asked sounding excited.
“She wants me to come home. My older sister is graduating. But the war is in a few days and…I don’t know what to do. I don’t know if I go through the war if I’m going to come out alive. I know that I’ve been training since I evolved, but…” I buried my face in my knees.
“But what?” she asked.
“I don’t know what to do…I should stay and do my part in this war, but if I go I’m going to be considered a coward.” I muttered.
“What was that?” Maria asked me.
“I’M NOT A COWARD!” I yelled at her making her jump a bit and back away from me with tears swelling up at the corners of her eyes. I instantly realized what I did and I looked away. “I’m sorry Maria, I didn’t mean to snap at you. I know you’re just trying to help.” I stood up and took a couple of long strides to catch up to her as she kept backing away.
I kneeled down and pulled her into a hug. “I’m sorry. I’m just not sure what to do.” I apologized holding her tight. “Please don’t be scared.” I begged.
I felt her arms wrap around my back and she returned my hug. “I can’t help you make this decision, but if you do decide to go home can I go with you?” She questioned.
I pulled away from her and smiled at her gently. “Of course you can. My family with be surprised that one I evolved, but two I have a girlfriend and my mother would love to meet you I’m sure.” I answered.
She smiled at me and I took my thumb and wiped away her tears. “Can you help me find my brother?” She asked.
“Sure, we can do that. Its always easier and more enjoyable with you’re traveling with someone.” I replied.
“Thank you.” She was smiling but tears were swelling up at the corner of her eyes again.
“Let’s get you down from here.” I smiled at her and picked her up bridal style and walked over to the edge of the roof and jumped off. Maria squeaked and clung onto me. I laughed a little as I lightly landed on the ground and bent my knees a bit to soften the blow on my legs. “Save and sound on the ground.” I smiled at her and gently set her down.
“T-Thank you, Patri…” I cut her off with lightly kissing her before letting go of her.
When I pulled away her face was red from blushing. This made me laughed, “Thank you Maria. I’m going to walk around a bit. You go head inside. I promise I’ll be back in a few minuets.” I told her.
“You sure?” She asked me still blushing.
“Of course he’s sure!” I felt an arm wrap around my neck and pull me back into a head lock of my best friend Delin. “I’ll make sure he comes back.” Delin told Maria.
“D-Delin, I can’t breath.” I chocked out trying to pull his arm away from my throat.
“Let’s good noodle!” Delin exclaimed dragging me away from Maria and into the woods for a walk.
“D-Delin…” I said glaring at his feet.
“Oh sorry Pat, I didn’t mean to hold onto that hard.” He laughed sheepishly removing his arm and rubbing the back of his head.
I straightened back up rubbed my throat a little, “So what was with the sudden wanting to take a walk with me?” I asked him.
“What I can’t take a mid day walk with my best friend?” He asked me.
“Well you can, but I know there’s another reason that you want to take a walk with me.” I answered.
“I over heard you and Maria talking. What does the letter from your mother say?” He asked me with a serious tone.
I sighed and pulled the letter out of my back pocket and handed it to him so that he could read it. “I don’t know what to do.” I answered as he read the letter.
“Go see your older sister’s graduation.” Delin said bluntly not really giving me an option.
“B-But, what about saving Damaris? And the Water Gods?” I stated.
Delin handed the letter back to me. “It’s an important day to your sister, you should so and surprise her.” He told me as I took the letter from him.
“If I want to make it in time, I’m going to have to leave tonight.” I said as we walked out of the woods and back towards the house.
“I know.” He smiled at me with a bit of sadness in his eyes.
I put a hand on his back and smiled at him. “Thank you Delin.” I said.
“You’re welcome. Now go get packed you have a journey a head of you to get back on time.” Delin said pushing me towards the house.
I stopped and looked back at him and smiled, “You know if you never say goodbye to someone it means that you will see each other again some day.” I said to him as he walked up to me.
He stuck his arm up and I took his hand, “You better not forget me noodle.” He said pulling me into a hug.
I laughed and hugged him back. “How can I forget my best friend?” I asked.
We pulled away from each other and he punched me in the arm. “Ow, what was that for?’ I asked rubbing the spot on my arm that he just punched.
He handed me a small piece of paper, “Get a cell phone when you get home and give me a call.” Delin smiled at me and I took the piece of paper.
I smiled back at him. “I can do that” I nodded and we walked back into the mansion so I could go and start packing.
When I went back into my room there was a package on my bed. I walked in and went to my bed and opened the box. It was a new jacket from what I could tell. There was a small note on the clothing. It was from Maria. I got these for you~ I hope you like them. I think that they suit you well. –Maria
I smiled and took out the clothes from the box and it was an entire outfit. I went and shut the door and got changed into the new clothes. It looked good on me and matched the purple and gold that was in my hair. I set the sleeveless jacket aside on the bed as I grabbed a suite case and started packing.
Someone knocked on my door. “Open.” I said walking around.
I heard my door open and I looked over to see who it was. It was Mist and Krory.
“Well don’t you look hot.” Mist teased winking at me.
“What are yoo’s doing?” Krory asked crossing her arms and eyes my suite case.
I looked away from her and Mist, “I’m leaving.” I told them.
“Why?” Mist asked with a bit of sadness in her voice.
I explained to them the letter that I got from my mother and what it said. Krory walked over to me and I thought that I was going to get smacked upside the head, but instead she put a hand on my should and smiled at me, “Do what yoo’s has to do.” She told me and I stood there shocked.
“I…I…” I looked at Krory not knowing what to say.
Krory punched my arm and put her hands on her hips. “What is it with everyone punching me in the arm today, is it beat up Patrick day again?” I asked rubbing my arm.
“We can take care of things Patrick, you go and see your sister graduate.” Mist smiled at me.
“Thanks.” I smiled at them and then Krory and Mist left my room to let me pack.

It was midnight now and I was ready to go. Zane and Maria said that they were coming with me and same with the new girl that just got here Danika. She had to deliver some mail out where I was going anyways. As we were about to leave Ross came running towards us with his bag over his shoulder.
“Ross what’s going on?” Zane asked.
“I have to head home, bad weather is about to hit the farm and my parents need help getting ready for it.” Ross answered.
“Then come with us.” Maria smiled up at him.
“Where are you all going?” He asked as we walked out of the door.
“We’re going back home to go surprise my sister for her graduation from college.” I answered.
“That’s nice of you.” Ross smiled as he uncovered his bike and put the tarp in his bag.
“If you need help on the farm give me a call and I’ll come and help out.” I told him.
“Thanks, I’ll hold you to that.” Ross said and then started his motorcycle up, “Take care and good luck.” He shouted over the engine of his bike.
“Will do and same to you.” I answered and we all waved before he started off toward his home.
“Well I guess it’s time for us to continue on as well.” Zane said and I nodded taking Maria’s hand. Danika, Zane, Maria, and I walked away from the mansion.
