Entry 2
So today was my first day of school. Coming into a new school when it’s starting to come to the end of the school year with only a few months left. The teachers are packing on more homework to get in everything that they feel like us kids need to learn before finals come rolling around at the end of the school year. That’s what I came into. I’m lucky enough to have my old school was on about the same track that this school is on so I don’t have to catch up on too much. I do not like all the homework now though.
Today was also my first day of watching my cousins. They weren’t too bad I actually got them to work on their homework after I made all of us a snack. I think I’ll be able to handle watching them. Well you know as long as they come back in a good mood. But I doubt that’s going to happen every day we all have our bad days at school and when one of them is mad I don’t want to know what it’s like when both of them are mad. I helped them with what I could with their homework. I swear the curriculum for elementary school students today is ridiculous. Did I spell that right? R-i-d-i-c-u-l-o-u-s it looks right I’ll just keep it. This is a journal so it really shouldn’t matter if I spell it right or not. But I’m just going to try to spell it correctly because I can. And I know if anyone were to ever get a hold of these things they would probably correct me on my grammar. I hope no one reads these entries other then me. That’s what I journal is about right? To just get what your feeling or things that happened through the day out.
Anyways after my aunt got home she asked me to go to the store and pick up a few things. I swear they have a plot to make me go outside and do things to be interactive with people. But I met this girl today. She’s a bit strange. I’ve never seen a girl put her hair up in a high ponytail up to the side like that. I mean Ella will have her hair up in pigtails like that from time to time. I don’t know what to really think of her. She helped me carry the groceries back to the house. Do I really look that pathetic to where I can’t carry groceries by myself? If I do I guess it’s a good thing that I’m going to be helping my uncle with wood once the weather breaks and that’s coming up soon. It’s getting warmer and spring is only a few days away. I’m kind of looking forward to it then again I’m not because that’s going to be one more thing that I have to do on top of homework and baby sitting and cleaning up the house. Ugh this is going to be hard to get use to. Anyways back to this girl I met. She seemed nice but I think that there is something a bit off about her. She takes things kind of like my parents do which is experimenting with things that they don’t understand. I could really care less about it, but before she left she wrote her number on my hands. Uncle Charley picked on me for an hour because of it.
-_-
And now I’m going to have to hang out with a family friend Kai Hikari. Aunt June told me that he’s coming home for spring break this week and said that he would be willing to take me around town and introduce me to some people. Kai is 19, he’s 3 years older then I am. I remember seeing him at some parties that my aunt and uncle had here but that was a few years ago. I guess he’s going to school in Australia so this should be a bit strange walking around with him. Oh well I’ll just make sure I have my PSP with me so that way I can stay out of most of the conversations. Well I should head to bed it’s pretty late. Kai is coming over tomorrow when my aunt get’s home from work so I have to try to get my homework done before he gets here. Talk to you tomorrow.
