New Search In Place
Our search was a bit too cluttered and didn't bring up useful data like member's portfolios or categories. We took a big first step to improving it.
Now, if you type a word, it'll search across all our sites (including World Posts) and provide a list of links for you to check out.
In addition, if there's a category or world name or member name that matches your search, it'll list it all for you.
There are lots of interesting ideas we can add to this down the line. We hope you enjoy!

Otaku Quiz Slam
In our best quiz month ever we published 30 quizzes. That was April 2007. Let's do better in celebration of the new quiz results manager. From now until November 15th we're aiming for at least one new quiz published every day (new quizzes now appear at the bottom of our home page).
On November 15th, exactly 30 days from now, a winning quiz will be chosen where the submitter gets a 30-day custom title: "Guru's Chosen" that stands out even further because it'll be in green. This will be the first title we've ever given that's colored.
Getting a quiz published on our site is equivalent to earning your black belt. It's HARD. You need great result images and top writing ability. We encourage people to collaborate. People who can write well matched with people who can create stellar result images. If a quiz is a collaboration of two people, both will get the Guru's Chosen title (but no more than two and it can only be submitted on one person's portfolio).
