Caption Battle: Rated M for Mature...

"It's that time again..."
"To eat our minstrels?"
"To expect the Spanish Inquisition?"
"No... it's time for this week's caption battle!"

But first, last week's winners:

In third place, twisting a turn of phrase into something cute: Uchiha1164!

You know, when you stare Death in the face, it's really not that bad.

In second place, showing the proper way to pull off a good "long caption" and starting a 2-week placement streak: Calaya!

Do you have a friend who's eyes go funny colours and shapes? Does she scream out random Japanese words now and then? Does she threaten to kill anime females when they look at anime males she has a crush on? Then you need Grim Reaper Doll! Grim Reaper doll is so small and ironically cute, your friend will have no idea he's been sent to kill her. Yes, Grim Reaper Doll delivers a quick and clean service anytime. Buy one today and recieve your friend's death certificate for free.

*Batteries not included. Use Grim Reaper Doll responsibly*

And in the coveted first place, making clever use of a different English idiom and really nailing it spot-on... timechaser!

A Grim Reaper doll in the hand is worth the two that are secretly crawling up Michiru's legs while she's distracted.

Job well done you three! I enjoyed those... but now on to this week.

This week I decided to be a jerk and used one of my own screencaps instead of a member-submitted one - just sayin', we have a lot of backlogged screencaps, and the ones that aren't mine are Galaxy Angel and Fruits Basket, so it's too soon! Hehe... ahem. That said, this week's screencap comes from Great Teacher Onizuka (one of the greatest shows ever) and features, from left to right: Azusa Fuyutsuki and Eikichi Onizuka. Now seriously, this should not be a hard screencap to work with, so don't let me down guys! I believe in you!

You know the drill: type up the funniest, wittiest, most original caption you can think of for the screencap above in the comments below. Also, if any of you would like some tips on writing a great caption, you can find those here.

And like always, theOtaku is open to all submissions and suggestions for weekly feature content. You have a screencap you want used, you can PM me and we can do somethin' about it. So here we are: final caption battle of the month. Cheers.
