“Don’t move, you bastard!” screeched Hoshi, nocking her bow. Kiba sighed. Only 12 metres to his right, he could dodge her arrow, but she didn’t know it. On his left, he smelled the last Bushin Geisha, the one that used the naginata. Great. He could make a fatal cut on each of them without getting hit, but they had him surrounded and unarmored, so they were going to act as if they had an advantage over him. “So that was your plan, you twisted fiend! Lure her into the cave, and get her while she’s bathing? What else could you be doing in that cave, HM?!”
“Paranoid little bitch…..” Kiba whispered. He knew all of them heard it, because they all reacted to it. Hoshi pulled her arrow back further, threatening to fire if Kiba didn’t explain himself. He sighed and spread his arms. “What could I be doing in that cave…..I don’t know, did you ever consider I was SLEEPING in it?” he snarled at her viciously. “This is my HOME. The Lair of the Wolf Brothers is not a palace, not a castle, not an invisible city, not a flying fortress, it’s a goddamn CAVE! Did me living in a cave somehow not occur to you, despite the fact that I’m a friggin’ WOLF?! You the captain of the Geisha? If so, I think you’re the worst captain of anybody.”
Kiba began to walk forward, but Hoshi fired her bow. “We’ll see what you think of THIS!” Kiba leaned back slightly, and the arrow whizzed past his nose. Hoshi was at first shocked, then enraged. “NO WAY!” She nocked her bow again and fired. This time, Kiba leaned forward, and the arrowed sailed past his head.
“Hoshi! Stop firing!” shouted Inuko. “You can’t hit this guy! You’re just wasting your arrows!” Hoshi ignored her and nocked her bow a third time.
“AKAMARU!” Kiba barked. With next to no warning, the wolf burst from the barren shrubbery behind Hoshi. She whirled around only to have the beast knock her down and chomp down on her bow with his massive jaws. The usually durable wood snapped like a dry twig. Hoshi panicked and crawled backwards. She did not have any sort of blade on her, and was utterly ill-equipped for close range combat. The colossal canine stuck his face in hers and drooled all over her.

“Don’t do anything to her yet, boy.” Kiba ordered calmly. Jumping down from the ledge, he deftly dodged an incoming stab from the naginata. Upon landing, he brushed the hair out of his face and spoke to Inuko. “Why are they here? I thought I asked you to come alone….”
“We’re just some well meaning friends who want to see her off safely! Do you have a problem with that?!” snapped Maiko.
Kiba sighed again. There were a lot of things to sigh about that day. “I don’t have a problem with it. But Okuri definitely will.” He looked around before starting “Out of the 3 of us, he’s the strongest and the most likely to kill someone. If I were you, I’d start running…”
