She was so caught up with her getaway, she was completely unaware that Kiba had never actually given up his chase. She remained totally oblivious of this until she felt him lightly touch her on the forehead with his finger. “Gotcha!”

Inuko screamed. She tried to lift her head, but somehow, that one finger managed to keep her down. She struggled for a moment and then gave up with a shriek of exasperation. Too exhausted to move, she had to dig deep within herself to find the energy to speak. “You want to do something with me? FINE!!! RIP MY CLOTHES OFF AND GET IT OVER WITH!!!!” She had decided having sex with this beast would be better than putting up any sort of fight. Hell, maybe she’d even enjoy it.
But instead of removing her armor and shredding her silk to ribbons, the man looked at her peculiarly. “Oh, the temptations that tempt me and the opportunities I let pass.” He whispered to himself. He put his head beside hers and stared up into the sky. “I’m not that sort of man, miss……” he trailed off, leaving her to answer.
“Inuko Tadaka.” She answered in a short breath. How lucky of her: he was a bit of a monster on the outside, but a perfect gentleman on the inside.
“Kiba Okami.” The man introduced himself. “By the way, never tell me to rip your clothes off again, because next time I WILL tear your outfit to shreds.” Inuko rolled her eyes. Okay, he wasn’t a PERFECT gentleman. “You should be proud of yourself, Inuko. I thought you’d have stopped, what, 20 minutes ago? You’re pushing even my limits.” Kiba said this loudly, but then whispered “Makes me wonder what you’re like in bed.” IN BED!?!?! Gentleman her ass! Was he nothing more than a pervert? No, a pervert would have taken advantage of her. Perhaps….perhaps he was just deficient in social skills. Well, he was kind enough not to rape her, so she really had nothing to worry about. A change in the wind washed Kiba’s scent over her. Strangely, she liked the testosterone and adrenaline rich odor, it made her smile. And so a few minutes passed in peace.
